If you've ever read the Discworld series by Terry Pratchett, there's a very talented witch named Weatherwax. That's why it's amusing. , Ok, Metropolis it is! Don't worry about "taking over," I just hate picking names, and I tend to get lazy about it.
As for Shiku , it would be interesting for them to meet. (He'll like the challenge...*hehehe*) But true to his character, I doubt he's going to allow himself to get into anything serious. He's just a big flirt/playboy.

Yesh, there is. Ah, what a day that was...
*Grumbles about "Characters he's never met" and such* I have half a mind to introduce the many characters you two have never seen into the Chibi RP just to spite you! But then we'd have near a small army of characters, which sounds like Mega fun, now you think about it... *Inivisions Rojo standing over a pit and yelling "THIS IS CHIBI!" before kicking some enemy in*

Rojo, stop being so upset. Asila hasn't met Sceatto or Shiku yet either! And yes, I'm sure we all have a myriad of characters to call upon, but that might make rping hectic and tiresome.

*nods* I wouldn't even want to attempt to post if I brought in all my past characters! I think I have plenty to do already with three characters on hand.
Hell, you've seen what happens when I have a lot of characters in one thread, Rojo! I had five in our pirate thread, hence the reason for so many long posts!
And Seven's right. I don't think I've met even half of her characters, and I have a collection myself that I'll probably never do anything with. I usually just invent new ones entirely when I feel I need another character for an rp. So we'll have a virtual army if the three of us tried to bring them all of our characters into the chibi thread. And no, that would not be fun, so don't even think about trying it!

Yeah, I have loads and loads Asila hasn't met. She's met some 4 characters of mine out of hundreds! (...at least 50....I think...) And I know I would die trying to rp so many people at once! Even in books, there are never more than 15 named characters, 20 at most.

Holy cow, Seven, fifty? I only have *counts them out on her fingers quickly* about twenty-five from my unfinished stories...of course there are all the characters from the other forums I was on before I finally wound up here, and they probably number twenty easily (though I started out on the animal-based forums that Renee introduced me too and I think most of them suck. There were a few cool humans, though, one of which I'm thinking about bringing back. His name was Iaculi and I think I only posted with him three times, but he was so cool!) And then there are the creatures I've invented, since I used to love inventing new creatures, and...OH MY GOD! THERE ARE SO MANY! *is wide-eyed with awe* I've never grouped them all together in my mind like this before. It blows my mind to think about it!

You know, a few days ago, I was thinking about starting a sort of "unofficial" contest which consisted of writing and posting as many of your character's profiles as you can ((though they'd be no real winner, so I guess it'd be more of an activity than a contest)).
What do you guys think? I think it would be a really clever way to introduce all of our characters, even old obscure ones? And we could each have our own thread to do it in!

What, like, just write up a whole lot of profiles, or have them introduce themselves?

*is lazy* Do I have to? I already post profiles for all of my characters before I introduce them... Of course, if you really want to give it a shot, I'll join in as well.

Post profiles is what I meant. And maybe a strong story/biography. You guys don't have to do it though. Maybe instead of a bio, we could write characters "auto-biographies," like they're telling us the story of their life.

Is this going to be a long-term thing? I can always try to post the occasional profile every few days, but there's no way I can do so much all at once!

I think auto-bioraphies sound fun. "And then...well, I kind of...died." But it is true, it would get annoying to do them over und over.

*shrugs* I guess so. I mean, I did imagine we could do it over a long period of time (trust me Asila, I know how much of a pain in the ass it would be to have to do some 50 characters all at once.... espeically since so many of my character's stories are inter-related.) I have to disagree with you Rojo; I don't think it would be annoying (but then again, maybe I'm naive). Not if you wrote with enough flare. If you wrote it like a bio, how would it really be different that from writing a short story? You could write from your characters POV and everything if you wanted. (Maybe it'd get tiring to do so many, which can be my concern as well...) I know! How about we do a "Profile of the Week" kind of thing were everyone can post a profile (or few, should they have the time) of a character they're not using in any story/rp, and then we can write comments on each other's character? Tell me what you think.

I think the idea is good. *Can't think of a good suggestion*
