Yep. I'll let you sum it up, Seven, since I am absolutely terrible at simplifying things.

Damn *grumbles about hating having to sum things up.*
....
Maybe i can steal Sparky's sum up of the board. Plus, that'll give rojo the idea of what we had to deal with. *evil grin*
Hold on...

This is exactly what the board admin, Sparky wrote for his original plot:
"All rolled up into one convienient bundle.
History:
Bascally, years ago there was a war here. Since then there's been a couple thousand years of peace, during which a secret school was started near the towns of Youthen, a town where mostly more modern-day people live, and Elden, a place where the older beings oft live, in a secret locale, so that this place is not too easily discovered where powerful people can either come posing as students or actual students can come. Their headmaster, Azrael, was elected because he was a hero in the war; however, he's a slacker who hardly ever does his job, so they're bringing in somebody to make him do it finally after a period of seven decades of him not being able to be found. Of course, in that time, the school has fallen into a state of a delinquet's school, with fighting, sex, drugs, murder, all sorts of things going on. It's all kept hush-hush, however, and it doesn't look to improve. The suggested reason is Azrael hangs out with the Element Trinity, three students who share his boredom of these peaceful times and wish to stir things up.
Plot: Above sould be pretty explanitory, but basically, it's an rp based around a school and two cities where sex, drugs, fighting, murder, and the like happen.
Also, there's another group now rivaling the Elemental Trinity, the headmaster's group, emerging, that wants to rule the school and surrounding area. It's shaping up to be a full-scale war between the two."
((I remember it annoyed me that he said that the school was secret, implying humans didn't know about it, yet NO ONE ever tried to hide what they were and being magical was pretty much known by EVERYONE and was considered normal. *grits teeth*))
*ehem*
Anyways, I don't think we really need to redo the whole "magical school" scenario. I was thinking we could just make it a war between two groups, one being "good" and the opposing being "bad." I know on Sparky's boards, there was a clan that used to live on the school grounds (before there was a school), but the clan leader's husband went insane and killed everyone, including her. Only the son got away, and eventually formed a group to fight off his father. So the father made an evil group, and htey fought each other, until the father was locked away.
But hten he somehow gets unlocked or something and now they're trying to take over (the school?) again.
I hope you understood that ramble.

Myeah...I vote for "Scrap that random piece of incomprehensible drivel and go for the cliche of good vs evil" Now for a new backstory!

Nods. That pretty much sums it up.
Except that Sparky called the rival group 'The Thirteen'. I'm not sure if we should change that or not. It's kind of cool.
And I can bring back the Asian dragon that is honor-bound to defeat Malevolos. I'll just have to rename her since the name of the character I based her off of no longer fits her history and I can't use the one I used on Sparky's board since I just called her Asila because that was what I always called the first character I invented.
Then we'll have the original Evening to take on Xanthe since she has the ability to control demons. Even though she's usually too afraid to use it effectively.
Now if we could just find a purpose for our dark group, we'll be all set!

Malevolos had a whole other reason.
Here's the thing. He looks like a western dragon because his mother was a demon and his father was an Asian dragon. Asian dragons are powerful, mystical creatures, even cast as gods in some legends, but they are benevolent towards the human race. And as the humans continued to spread and take over more and more land, they have simply let themselves fade into the background. Without enough room to exist peacefully (should people discover them they would probably be hunted as ruthlessly as the tiger who the Asian people pretty much loved to death) so they have retreated to one of the last corners of the world and their numbers have depleted.
Malevolos' father was not happy with this and happened to be the type of guy who pushed the issue, so he was exhiled. Eventually he met a demoness (perhaps one of the daughters of Daemon's hell that should have been slaughtered but was smuggled into the human realm instead?) who he fell in love with. They had one son, our charming Malevolos, and Malevolos ended up inheriting his father's passionate dislike of the spreading human infestation (as he had called it) and ultimately decided to try and supress the humans (basically take over the world. Darn it! Malevolos fits the theme after all!) so that the dragons could rule again.
There is more to the history, things that have happened to enforce this obsession of his, but that's pretty much it. He's in this to right things in the world and, as far as he's concerned, is actually a good guy. It's everyone else who lacks vision.
As for Xanthe, I think his reason is closely related to the third on the list, but I'll fill in his story as a rp with him. I usually develop a history as time goes on, not right off the bat.
So how about all evil characters have there own unique reason for desiring power and have begun to form an alliance to that they could better achieve their unique goals.
Just an idea.

What, like in Saturday morning cartoons? Sounds good! Now all I need to do is create a character...

Oh! That means I can bring in Lief again! (Malevolos needs a rival anyways.) I have a bunch of characters you guys have never heard of since in most of my rps with you two, I made new characters for the situation. But in this rp, i think a lot of my old characters could fit the bill as well.
So...we DO need to have some people alligning themselves with "good...." I already have one in mined, but it's been so long since I rped him, I hope I don't botch him...

I'm already bringing back my silver Asian dragon from Sparky's board (I'm going to give her a new name) so she'll be around to help out the cause. As will the original Evening if anyone can get her to stick around long enough. Three powerful demons in one place (well, one's only half demon, but still!) she's going to feel intimidated.
Like I said, that character has more sense than I do half the time. *grins*

Oh! I'm glad to be seeing the ex-Asila again. I wonder if there's some way we can bring back our dynamic duo though...I really loved those two together.
As for the title, "The Thirteen," I like it too, but I'm not sure if it can work out. Considering that the 13 implies that the villains are an actual group that intentionally and purposely saught each other for benefits. And with 2 princes of hell on the lineup, I doubt that would happen. (As Princes tend to be arrogant and think they're all powerful enough to deal with any issue by themselves, I doubt they'd go for co-leadership with "mortals.")
In fact, maybe when all these villains meet, they'll be against each other at first, and then come to an agreement.

Oh, I'm sure we can bring back Lanix and Annwn. She'll be curious about this gathering of hellish princes.
Oh, and I think I'm going to have Malevolos drag Evening into this the same way he tried to on Sparky's board. That way Xanthe can come in to try and defend his claim (Do you really think he hasn't been using the lesser demons to keep an eye on her all this time? Pfft. )
I'm not sure about how we're going to get the others to gather, or oppose each other (at first) though. *ponders*
As for the name, we may as well scrap it. Would a group of villians really give themselves a name? Well, maybe if the started making demands. You know, letters signed with a mysterious alias. I don't know, we may as well cross that bridge when we reach it.

Very true. As for Daemon, I don't really know what his motivation for coming to Earth (or whatever the planet might be named) would be. He pretty much has everything as it is. I can only imagine he'd come out of boredom. But he also has a strong disdain for all of his brothers, so I doubt he'd hang around Xanthe for no reason. Even if he just wanted to annoy one of his brothers might be pushing it fo rhim...
I don't know, I really should just call you so we can talk about this.
