Category: The City of Manticore Of the two cities engaged in the centuries old war between the werewolves and the Guardians who rule here, this is the most ancient. And the most powerful. It's complex networks of narrow, winding streets have been known to swallow those who traverse them with a mentality that is anything less than sound. It's monolithic structures rise from the ground in oblong spheres, hulking masses that, when seen in silouette against perpetually dark skies, resemble the curved exoskeletons of colossal beetles. It is an exceptionally dreary place, even within this dreary world. |

Category: The Wastelands This is the three hundred miles of ice, snow, and merciless arctic winds that separate The City of Manticore from Wyvern City. There is little shelter to be found here, and nothing to eat. Very few creatures have survived the destruction caused by the harsh, nuclear winter that has shaped the continent into this miserable, frozen landmass. The few that have managed to survive are terrible, twisted beasts that are sustained only by the excessive amounts of magic that had permeated the world upon the destruction of civilization as the Ancients had once enjoyed it. A trek from one city to the next is a journey seldom survived. |

Category: Wyvern City Wyvern City is no smaller than it's powerful rival, but it's occupants are much fewer in number, so much so that the first thing to strike a weary traveler who has somehow survived The Wastelands will be an air of abandonment. The snow and ice of the unforgiving wilderness have already begun to claim the skyscrapers that had once crowned the outer edge of the city's heart. These buildings, so different from the crouching structures of Manticore, are hundreds of feet tall and have nearly been lost to the colossal drifts. Like the werewolves who reign over it, the city retains only shreds of it's former glory. |
