To Rojo: If you really want an abandoned school, you can have an abandoned school. Just remember that your abandoned school probably wouldn't be a large one, because large schools are in the city.
Then again...we could always kill two birds with one stone and create a city that has a condemned school building within his boundaries. There we go, new place number eight.
8.) City. (with abandoned school that will have it's own boards beneath the city.)
Now we just need to pick a city. How about Toronto, Canada, since there are not really any very large forests in the United States. We have a few, but they are too infested with trails and tourists for comfort.
And we still have to decide where the good guys are going to go! Come on! Help me out here!

Okay, time for another list! LIST OF POSIBBLE LOCATIONS FOR THE GOODGUYS PROTAGONISTS
1. Underground chamber
2. A sort of good version of Thornfield, where no evil magic can enter.
3. A druidic circle (Similar to Stonehenge. Don't ask why I thought of it)
4. A cave accessable only via either very dark and deep catacombs or the sea.

I don't think we really need to focus on having a real location Asila. I mean, it's just us. Who'se going to know if we make a place up or not? (Plus, if we do Canada, everytime i write something, I going to be tempted to out "eh" after in, and the voice in my head will read everything back to me with an accent. ;D))
Rojo, I don't think there's really such a thing as "evil" magic. But 2 does sound pretty good.

((You evil Xenophobe! Hey, do you read all my posts in a British accent, hmm? CRUMPETS! TEA! MYES! *Goes mad*))
Sewers... erm... A Log Cabin (I'm a lumberjack an' I'm okay...) Inside a truck (MOVING BASE! WOOT)
Well, those were less serious ones, and I nearly put "Exploding tree" for some unknown bizzare reason...

All right, so it will just be a random city with a random name (I'm making Seven pick it out since it was her idea. *grins) with a random abandoned school (that you could name if you would like, Rojo. Even abandoned buildings usually have names. Unless they're just houses.
And that would be better because that way we wouldn't have to worry about whether or not there were people nearby. We'll just assume that your average humans stay within the boundaries of the city and that everything outside the city is wilderness.
The good guys can just gather in a log cabin or something similar that they would have found in the wilderness. They aren't the ones that live in the area, they just need a place to regroup should they need it. There would be enchantments, of course, to keep the baddies from zoning in on it too easily.
Which means that number seven on my list may as well be crossed out and we are back to eight boards. Which is plenty.

....this may sound crazy but....
I think that living inside a large truck with be FREAKING AWESOME!!! Can we do it? huh huh huh huh PLZZZZZZZZZ?
Sorry, it really amuses me. Then the good guys can complain about budget problems and constantly get knocked into each other (hahah!) Or maybe, they can make a not-so-sleek get away in their large,s slow truck. I think the possibilites for hysterical-ness are endless.

*shrugs* If you would like. It would just have to be something with big wheels so that it wouldn't get stuck on some of the narrower dirt roads that you would find in the wilderness. And Saika is going to absolutely hate it, since she despises closed spaces to such a degree that she may as well be claustrophobic. But if the situation calls for it...*shrugs*
As for Evening, according to my plan for getting Xanthe to join our group of baddies, she's going to become Molly's prisoner in earnest until the Demon Prince shows up and interferes. And then she'll be stuck with him.
So let's see here...right now it sounds as though only Saika and Crevan are going to have to deal with the truck, so who's going to drive? I can't see either one of them driving a large, modern machine...
And don't forget to give me the names for the school and the city. I'll keep reminding you until I get answers! *determined stare*

I think I know who can drive the truck...*chuckles evilly* I'm intending to bring back 2 of my old characters.
As for the City Name.....let's see what random sounds come out when I press random keys on my keyboard!!! slkdjflksja
SKuwedlja
Seudlks
SKueala
Stuklen
....
aoifaoewihfoiewjfclijdaKJEWJfaoiwdujfkjsdisd?
Don't think that's gonna work....
How bout something more realistic, like Oldport? But then again, that'll imply that the city HAS a port...
Hmm....
names suck!

Yeah, they do. That's why I'm making the two of you name your own inventions. *diabolical laughter*
I usually like to pirate names when I can, the way I did with the title of the board itself *grins at the memory*. That's also how I named Thornfield Mansion. I don't know if you've read Jane Eyre. It's an old gothic novel, the main character being a governess who was summoned to watch a yound French girl at Thornfield Mansion, home of the eccentric (and sometimes hilarious) Mr. Rochester. He played such amusing tricks! But he was dark, brooding, and imposing more often than not. I think the reference I created when I named Malevolos' lair after that of Mr. Rochester fits, don't you? ;D
And I can't wait to meet your two new (well, new to me, at least) characters, Seven!

I know, how bout something simple, like Franklin City? ((too lazy to think of anything else -_-u))
Well, I'm sure my characters will be happy to meet you two! I will have to change somewhat to fit the story (like what you did with Evening). I debating about whether I should leave or take out a certain part of their background though..... ... ....Can they be the ones bringing in the truck? I imagine them road-tripping.

Franklin City? Really? But that sounds so mundane. (please don't get annoyed at me for being critical! I'm just trying to think of something that would seem to...fit the tone of the boards. ;D ) How about Ashland, Fox Lake, Two Rivers (those three are all actual cities in Wisconsin) or Metropolis, Normal (ironic on more than one level, especially in regard to my earlier comment ), or Salem? (Those last three were from Illinois) You won't believe this, but there is a city named Sparta in Wisconsin and one named Athens in Illinois! There is also a New London and a New Berlin in Wisconsin. You should try looking up lists of cities in different states when you're trying to name a city. It's interesting. And yeah, your characters can be the ones that bring the truck! That would solve the whole problem! We'll just have to figure out a likely way to have them meet. I can't see Saika soaring in to say hello. I did have an idea that might work, though...

Just for a bit of trivia, near Portsmouth there's a town called Barry, which I wasd highly amused by. I also once saw an inn called Sandy Balls,
The Weatherwax School For The Gifted
;D
Seven will get the reference. I was also thinking of memorial wings with snide references, but maybe that's a bit far.

*giggles* I love those books.
to asila: Um...sure....we can go with any one of those names. *Is so bad with naming things. Honestly, haven't you been discouraged by looking at the names I've PREVIOUSLY came up with?*
As how they would meet....well Shiku might run into Saika and try to bring her along....as he is a major playboy....

I hate inside references. *sighs* And Seven, can't you just pick a name? I've listed six! I kind of like Metropolis (I just like that word. It sounds cool) but I feel like I'm taking over. Actually, I'm pretty sure I've taken over already. So this mysterious Shiku is a playboy, and Saika is a tad frosty and takes herself too seriously. Can't wait to have them meet! I hope he isn't afraid of dragons, since she spends most of her time as one. She only shifts into a human when she's trying to communicate with one. *can no longer resist commenting* There really is a Sandy Balls inn? No way! *laughs* That's the type of place my ever oblivious grandfather would bring my grandmother, my sister, and I too on a road trip and the three of us would laugh about for years after. *grins*
