Joseph suddenly grins triumphantly. Ha! I knew it! So that's where you were sneaking off all these days! Ash is your girlfriend! he adds in frivolously. Then clears his throat. Anyways...yes, its what we'll have to do until we figure out why these people are after them...

Ash looks at Lin and the Elder warily. This was getting to be too weird. But...but she couldn't help the desire to get in with this whole magic thing.
That is, until she remembered something. Wasn't The Sanctuary the name of that cult Tall came from, that was the group of antagonists, that everyone in the book fought against? she thought to herself, desperately trying to remember. Until she overheard Lin calling the old man "Elder." Then she knew, and was freaked out like all hell.

Radar, of course, notices this well hidden little spazz-out, and can't resist. He shoots a look at Joseph before moving directly behind Ash, still in the dark Realm. He opens up the barrier just enough to trace a comforting hand across her shoulder and whisper into her ear, "shhh. Relax, Ash..." before withdrawing.

Of course, in this strange place, knowing it's a strange cult, thinking that Aka's books are more than fiction, Radar's attempt to be nice fails entirely. Feeling the cold hand on her back, she almost embarrassingly lept to her feet in a frigid motion, looking behind her paranoidly. A few of the Followers look at her suspiciously, and Ash, not wanting to be killed or have hidden magic sucked from her, or any of those things, smiles sheepishly and waves before slowly going to sit back down.
This time Joseph whacks Radar's arm.
