I think we wait. If something happens while the other is gone, we won't be able to get them out. He moves forward a bit, inching along after the girls.

The greetings with the girls have all been merry, more like a commune of hippies from thr 60s and 70s. They bring the two to a magic circle, though Ash squeezes out instead, saying she prefer to 'watch' first, and the rest just nod and smile. As the group stands in around the circle, light is released. It seems to be restoring some faded magic.

Radar snarls faintly in the darkness. He's still a little touchy when there's light magic around, Tall, Joseph and Elena discluded.

The moment's ceremony is over, leaving everyone sighing in relief. They've all been replenished now. Ash, from the slidelines looks vaguely jealous of everyone's contented sighs.

Radar continued to watch through the ceremony and after, resisting the urge to comfort Ash, but looks at Joseph. How are they getting this power? Who could be supplying it?

Joseph shakes his head. I have no idea. But while they were doing that circle thing, I noticed something. It's light magic, yes, but somehow it just seems... different than the light magic in our family or anyone we pass it on to.

Before Joseph continues, another figure enters the scene: an old man being helped along by a handful of younger ones. The Head Elder.
Lin happily runs over, a bit disrespectful by the clan's standards, though no one has pointed this out to her yet. She bows, thinking she's paid her respects. The Elder smiles down at her, perhaps amused by her ignorance and innocence.
"Ah, welcome Lin. I see you brought a friend today..."
"Yes! She is the one I was telling you about, Elder."

Radar's eyes drop their usually masking black facade and glow strongly orange-red at the sight of this enemy, and it's plainly clear it's all he can do not to leave the Dark Realm.
