"Yes that was it! It must have been you. So when I get really out of control and Isis yells at me I will just blame you." She gave a laugh again but this times she pulled her hand away and grasped at her rib cage. "Ow... I forgot for a moment that I had two broken ribs." She looked down to her left arm now with a sadden look. "And the fact that I wont be able to do anything for a long time..."

Mikaki frowned sadly as he watched her pain, deflating a little bit after their original moment of humor. "You know.... If you'd like... there is a way for me to heal that faster..." he murmured very softly. He seemed quite uncertain about it though.

She looked at him now cocking her head to the side seeing the look on his face. "Yes I would like that very much but... You look a bit worried about it... What do you have to do?"

He shook his head. "It's not me, Kealya. If I heal you... it would cause you pain, as contrary as it sounds."

"Than who could do it? Isis can't because when you heal here you take the injuries onto yourself..." She thought for a moment and than looked back to him. "Do you mean Daemon could do it?"

Mikaki grimaced slightly. "Actually, both Daemon and I could do it, him because who he is, me because I've stolen enough Devil blood in my lifetime." He tried to think of way to explain it to her. "Have you ever had your shoulder dislocated, and had to have someone push it back in?" he asked.

"Yeah but I was the one shoving it back in..." She said looking to her right shoulder. "I was a kid and I fell down the steps just outside and I didn't want to tell Isis so I shoved my shoulder back into it's socket... It hurt so bad."

Mikaki looked a bit surprised, amazed at her strength, but simply nodded. "Well, it's like the same concept. It hurts because it forces your body, making it fix itself suddenly, faster than nature allows. And it does hurt, it hurts a lot, but by the end, you're well again."

She gave a node of her head now. "If I could take my mother putting the bone back into my body and all the stitching that she did with nothing to dull the pain I am sure I can do this." She took in a deep breath and shut her eyes tight. "Okay I am ready when you are."

Despite not being able to see him, she could hear Mikaki's uncertainty in his somewhat shallow breath. "Are you sure?" he asked quietly.

She shook her head no to this. "No I' not but I don't want to change my mind now. If what ever it is you do can heal my ribs and arm I'll take the pain. Anyway it can't be nearly as bad as childbirth right?"

"Point," Mikaki said, proverbially dot eyes on his face. Then he held out his hands, at first just hovering over her, until he changed his mind. It'd be more personal, more invasive, but he knew it would help it go along faster. Besides the fact that they were supposed to be a bit more personal now...
With a touch of trepidation, he put his hands on her, and suddenly, an overwhelming pain swept through her, particularly at the spots of her injury as bones forced themselves back together and bound, and it lasted a long ten minutes.

Kealya's body tensed as the pain flowed threw her. Her eyes shut tight she tried her best not to make a sound but the feeling of bones shifting and being joined again was to much. Her mouth opened in a silent scream but it was clear she was in a lot of pain. The moment it was over and slumped back down on the bed breathing heavy. She opened her eyes slightly and looked to Mikaki now. "Ow...." She sat up again feeling her ribs and moved her left are around. "It work..." She looked to Mikaki now smiling. "Thank you!" This time she flung both her arms around his neck and kissed him.

His body stiffened, his eyes widened as she threw herself at him, as if he was entirely unused to the custom--or affection. It was with a deep inhale that he forced his lanky body to relax, carefully putting his arms up around her. When she pulled off his lips so that he could speak again, he softly murmured. "You're welcome."

Kealya realized how awkward he was feeling and pulled away from him her cheeks a little pink. "S-sorry I don't know what came over me..." She new Mikaki wasn't used to being around people and all this affection she was throwing his way. She needed to back off a bit and let him get used to it. She looked down to her left arm and moved it around exhaling as she did so. "That really did hurt a lot but it's better than waiting for this to heal on it's own."
