Threw out the night Kealya had woken and stirred and it was clear she wasn't getting a good night rest. It had finely seemed that she had fallen asleep and for a few hours she rested until the door to the room flung open. The sound caused the girl to jump right out of her sleep as she sat up looking at the door. Her eyes winded as she was nearly attacked hugged by the Arabian prince. "Kealya!! Oh my sweet Kealya I heard what happen to you!!" "Safiy!! Let go!" While he wasn't hugging her arm it still hurt a lot more than it should have.

That selfish brat--she had only just gotten to sleep! Silently, Mikaki jumped to the ground behind the foolish invader who was causing Kealya yet even more harm, and ripped him off of Kealya, throwing him to the floor. Now, Safiy would see the tall, lanky man crouched more like a beast, barring his way to Kealya. "Do you want to die?" Mikaki hissed.

Safiy sat there blinking looking at the taller them and than to Kealya who was behind him. "Wha..." He looked a little scared but more confused than anything. Kealya reach out to place a hand on Mikaki's shoulder. "Mikaki it's all right... Safiy is a friend... Sometime." "Kealya what is that supposed to mean?!" Safiy said looking hurt at the tiny girl who gave a little laugh at his expression.

Mikaki made a low growl, but nonetheless straightened up. "Idiot," he berated the man on the ground. "She's injured in case you haven't noticed, you shouldn't be clinging to her." Mikaki scoffed. "Or barging your way into rooms--your intentions may be... misunderstood after the previous attack," Mikaki hissed, his words carrying a harsh, underlying threat.

"I'm sorry..." Safiy said standing back up looking to Mikaki and than back to Kealya. "You know I didn't mean..." "You get to excited I know." Kealya said waving his apology off. Safiy looked very wary at the taller man who gave off the aura as if he would kill the young prince if he stepped out of line. "Kealya I came here to ask you something--" "No." Kealya said firmly before he could even say what it was he wanted to. "You didn't even let me finish..." He said getting all poutie. "If it's the same thing you have been asking me since I was 13 than the answer is still no and it's not going to change."

At this, Mikaki cocked his head, almost bird-like, inquisitively. "What?"he asked, not wanting to be uninformed.

Kealya looked to Mikaki at this and looked away not wanting to say it but she didn't get a chance to say it because Safiy was holding her hand now. She blinked only wondering how he had ducked pasted Mikaki so quickly. "Kealya I'm not here to ask you to become my concubine. I'm here to ask your to become my wife." It was like a mirror had been shattered in Kealya's head as her eyes grew wide and her body went a little limp. "What?" She ask looking at him confused and alarmed. "Kealya please become my wife! I can take you away from here and keep you safe." It was clear by the look on her face that this wasn't sinking in as well as the prince had hopped.

Mikaki was so taken aback by the words, he physically flinched, nearly stumbling as he did. The fact that he had almost slipped was also a sorce of great embarrassment, considering he hadn't missteped in milenia, but thankfully, the only other two occupants of the room didn't seem to notice, they were too caught up in the moment.
Oddly, Mikaki felt cold at the question, colder yet that Kealya didn't immediately refuse the other man, despite the fact that he had been trying to press upon her the importance of leaving him alone, finding another lover. What better prospect than a prince with a marriage proposal, so that she would become queen and potentially goddess in her own right?
And yet, rather than scowling and walking away, giving Kealya leave and incentive to make the answer that would best suit her life, the cruel, fiendish part of his demonic lineage reared its ugly head, and rather than slinking off into the shadows, the sound of cruel, arrogantly amused laughter came from behind Safiy.
Mikaki was wearing that same, smug, amused, taunting, mean smirk as he languidly ventured toward the damned prince. Mikaki suddenly remembered how much he hated monarchies, despised royalty. "Idiot," he taunted in the closest to a light tone a low, rumbling voice could sound. "Don't you know that you're not supposed to make romantic, personal marriage proposals before the intended's current lover?" he asked in a mockingly innocent tone.

Safiy turned his head to look at Mikaki but he did not remove his hand from Kealya's. "What? Her lover?!" Kealya's eyes where now on Mikaki still that shocked look on her face but it was now accompanied by a blush on her cheeks. "K-Kealya is this true?" Kealya snapped out of it looking to the other prince as she puled her hard away from his nodding her head. "Yes..." He whispered looking away from both man now. Safiy stood up at this pointing to the other man in the room. "Kealya you know I have loved you for years. What does this man have that I don't? What can he give you that I can't?"

Mikaki crossed his arms and relaxed his position as Safiy pointed at him, thereupon he made a small, but pointedly derisive chuckle. "An intelligent conversation and a man with a scathing wit," he responded for her--softly--though it was still perfectly clear and audible. After all, that was the point: openly mocking this potential rival.

Safiya huffed at Mikaki and turned back to look Kealya. "Is that so?" He asked her and she shy away from him a little it was the jester of some one who was afraid that they where going to be hit even if she know Safiy would never lay a hand on her. Seeing her slink away from him Safiy got up and took a few steps back letting her have her space. "Kealya..." "It's more than just that." She says looking over to the other prince. "He can teach me things I would never be able to learn and in turn I can teach him about our world." Kealya glances over to Mikaki now. "He might not have the stability that you have Safiy but I don't care about that... In fact I rather like it... I know he doesn't seem like it right now but he is kind and gentle with me..." Safiy looks to her now. "But... but I could take you away from all of this... You could finely become a princess Kealya and never have to worry about work or the threat of an attack again." To this she gave a little laugh. "How boring of a life would that be?"

Mikaki was getting impatient. Offering her a chance at being a queen--like that was such a big deal, like the right to be tied down for eternity and the loss of one's freedom were so great--he accidentally (at least this time) chuckled. "Come on boy, the lady already told you 'no,' so why don't you keep that princely pride of yours be ceasing to insist?"

Safiy turned to Mikaki now his hands balled into fist. "Because I have been chasing after Kealya long before you got here and just because you fell from the sky or something like that doesn't mean I am going to give up now." "Safiy please enough." Kealya said reaching out to take the other princes hand. He turns his head and looks to her. "You are a very good friend and a wonderful man but I can never be yours and you could never be mine. I understand that you love me but you love to much." "How... How is that a bad thing." "You have seven wives and six concubines. You could honestly never love me the same way as just one man could." His shoulder sank at this as he sat back down on the bed with her. "But..." "Enough is enough Safiy. Let me go I was never yours to begin with..." He gave a little sigh and leaned in giving her a kiss on the cheek. "Fine but only because you asked me to... Not because of him." He head nodding his head in Mikaki's direction.

Somehow, Mikaki wouldn't have minded goading the prince into a duel, and he scoffed at his declaration of 'chasing after this woman longer than he had.' What a sexist notion. As if she were a bank and he was waiting for his return. And as he kissed Kealya, he felt his body tense, and he regretted that the prince hadn't given him a chance to be convinced by him.
Nonetheless, he wasn't a beast, and as Safiy turned to leave, Mikaki silently let him go so he could get out of there already. And after he left, he kept his silence.

Kealya watched her friend leave and was silent as well for a few moments. "Did you really mean what you said?" She asked but her head and eyes where still facing the direction that Safiy had just left.
