Mikaki was silent. He was still watching the door, keeping still and firm. "I... I've just contradicted my original intent of getting you to leave me, didn't I?" he asked as if the answedr wasn't obvious.

Kealya smiled at him now beckoning him to come closer with her finger. "Come here." She said in a soft voice.

He hesitated for a moment, inhaling sharply, but even with that trepidation, he obeyed her command. He came closer, and cautiously sat down on the edge of her bed. His eyes met her for a moment before he quickly averted his gaze, a motion that could only be called bashful.

Kealya moved closer to him now as he sat down. She gave him a little smile and reach up placing a hand on his face and turning it to her. She leaned in now giving him a kiss on the lips. Pulling away she wore a grin on her face. "I'm glad you changed your mind."

His lips were still, nonreactive, as she kissed him, but more out of the shock and his own sudden sense of coyness than anything else. That, and she had pulled away before he had managed to snap out of it. His shoulders came up and in, and he almost seemed embarrassed. "You're admittedly persuasive..." he murmured.

Kealya gave a little laugh at this now. "Is that just a nice way of saying that I'm a little stubborn?" She leaned her head on his shoulder now and took his hand into her looking down at it. "I admit I wasn't expecting for that to happen at all."

"Your stubbornness, or my jealousy?" Mikaki asked, as he watched the joining of their hands really rather curiously, as though he also hadn't quite processed it just yet.

Kealya gave a little laugh at that now. "I know I am stubborn. Always have been I just wasn't expecting you to be the jealous type and after all that talk about how I would be better off with out you, you jumped in when another man asked for my hand in marriage." She probably wouldn't tell him that Safi's proposal was her 26 one at this point and that didn't even account for all the others that asked for her to be their concubine.

"For some reason, he just really rubbed me the wrong way..." Mikaki muttered, letting his dark look fall on some arbitrary spot in the room away from Kealya. By the time he looked back at her, he was again smiling faintly. "I don't suppose that you'll eventually see sense and leave me, will you?" he asked softly, but the tone was gently teasing.

She shook her head now to that. "I haven't had a reason yet and beside where am I going to find a man half as clever as you?"

"Well, I suppose we don't know if anyone else from some other dimension is going to fall from the stars..." Mikaki murmured, looking up at the ceiling.

Kealya gave a laugh now. "True thought that would be very awkward if that red haired man did fall from the sky like the stars said he would." She gave a shrug now finely taking her eyes off their hands to look up at him. "But even if he did I would still be with you. No starts are going to tell me what to do. Or a very old demon for that matter."

Mikaki laughed softly at that. "You young trouble-maker..." he said, softly teasing her. "Not following the rules." He tisked at her, wagging a finger as he shook his head.

She gave a shrug rolling her eyes now. "What can I say a life of following the rules I have to brake some along the line somewhere."

Mikaki chuckled at that, nodding his head. "Let's just admit the truth. I corrupted you."
