Aretha nods thoughtfull, gazing intently at the picture over Acala's shoulder. "The flyers are a wonderful idea, Tawny, and the image will suit the purpose perfectly." She glances at Acala as she continues. "And the mural would cement the image. A final blow, so to speak." She steps away, moving into a more open space and begins to pace. She stares off at nothing thoughtfully, her hand absentmindedly stroking along her scar.
"But I think we could use it as a twofold assault. Use this image now, make sure that everyone who could be effected by it is exposed." She looks up at Tawny suddenly. " This would definately set up the stage, but we'll need a trigger. A simpler symbol that we can spread more quickly when the time is right." She moves back to the picture and points to the chain. "This. 'Unleash Yourself.'"
She turns aburptly, suddenly lost in her plotting, and looks at Ghost. "Can you still get me a discount with the printer you know?" He nods once, then tilts his head. "Karina can get the paper," she responds to his silent question. "This... Will work..." She smiles ferally at Tawny. "You'll set the stage for mass rebellion."

Tawny couldn't wipe the grin off her face if someone held a knife to her throat at this point. Having her art recognized in such a way was every artist's dream! Of course, no one would know that it was hers, but it seemed like more than enough that her art would be one of the most influential forces behind an anti-Guardian movement that no one had been able to successfully pull off before. This was history in the making, and she had a key role! She would be remembered!
For the second time that night, she sprang to her feet, grin still lighting up her face and her eyes blazing wildly as she shifted her gaze from Acala to Aretha. "I will be all over this thing!" She said with laughter in her words. "This is the kind of chance that most people could only hope to dream of!" She would have ranted more about just how great an opportunity this was, and how everyone could depend on her for getting this mural done and doing it well, but she had to take a moment to quiet her thoughts. That were incoherent in their chaotic glee.
But her thoughts did begin to calm once she focused on calming them, and she was able to actually comment on the plan. She looked at Aretha. "I really think that "Unleash yourself" would be a catchphrase that will really pack a punch when it follows the circulation of my image and it's caption. I like it. It has just the kind of forceful, demanding tone that tends to change things." She took a second's pause, running through the plan again. "And the fliers are going to be at least as large, or a bit larger, as a piece of notebook paper, right? That way, they would be big enough for teenagers to pin on their walls. I used to do that kind of thing all the time. No one could even see the color of the paint in my room."

"I'm sure that could be managed," Acala said, still holding onto the sketchbook. Unfortunately, Acala sometimes does things without thinking, especially about other people's privacy. She flips the pages, casually asking, "What else do you have here Kid? Perhaps we can compliment the posters by creating sequels or something..." And so, without giving it too much thought, she invades Tawny's privacy.

"Hey! Wait a second!" Tawny half-shrieks as she springs forward to reclaim the sketchbook. But before she would be able to snatch it back, Acala would see spoof pictures of the ever-serious Kite (wearing a dress, domestically sweeping a floor in a frilly white apron, pondering a stuffed animal collection), a few comic-strip panels of the rebels in action with sound bubbles included, a two-panel picture in which Aretha is gazing down at a partially finished speech with a focused expression while Ghost floats, drawn to look like his name-sake behind her with a typical scary ghost expression, in the first panel, and in the second, Aretha has turned to ask him his opinion and he is immediately back to normal, nodding soberly as though nothing out of the ordinary had just occurred.
Lastly, Acala would get a chance to see the picture Tawny had just drawn of herself, a caricature of a more realistic style with accurate features. Or mostly accurate, since the area around the eyes have been shaded into one wild black, scratchy mass. The mouth is wearing a frown, and there is a storm cloud overhead that seems to be pelting the caricature-ized Acala with hail. The storm-cloud sported the word "DOOM" in thick black letters.
Then the book is back in Tawny's possession, and she is backing away wearing a sheepish grin. "Ignore that. I draw spoofs of everyone. You know, fairness and equality and all that jazz."

Acala chuckles softly at the little comic strip, then bursts into momentary laughter when she sees her Tawny's rendition of her person. "Elise, you have to see this!" she'd say just a moment before Tawny steals the book back. Somehow, she sadistically felt pleased that she had annoyed the little girl to that point, but it was also all in good humor. Smiling, she commented, "Very nice. I'm afraid you didn't make my nose large enough though. You sketch me too kindly. Though I am thinking that's exactly the image I'd like to put forth to my students. Do you mind if I have a copy?"

Aretha blinks herself out of the plotting-induced trance she had paced herself into, watching them thoughtfully. Ghost, however, had seen the pictures and covered his silent mouth with one hand as he laughs noiselessly.
Aretha tilts her head at him, and in their usual mode of communication, he relays the picture of the two of them to her. She grins, looking at Tawny. "Let me see that!"

Tawny looks suspiciously from Acala to Aretha and back again, as though suspecting some sort of conspiracy between them. Then she shrugs in an exaggerated gesture of mock-defeat. She opens the notebook up to Acala's caricature, with the intention of just giving it to her, and turns back a page to the Aretha and Ghost spoof so that she could see it.
"You two had better not shove me into the clutches of nearest Forsaken the moment one of you gets the chance," She mumbles, walking back to the pair and handing the page to Acala and the notebook to Aretha.

Elise quietly makes her way over to Acala to look at the sketch. She remains silent, but gives her a small wondering look of how her friend could find amusement in a critical drawing like such. Acala continued to snicker.
"You sadist..." Elise said softly in a light voice, though she didn't smile. But then again, Elise never really smiled.
Pocketing the picture, she now chooses to ignore Elise. "Oh yeah. Definitely going to drive fear into my students this term."

Aretha grins down at the picture, scrutinizing it carefully. Ghost looks over her shoulder, until she turns to him, pointing at the pictue of him in a ghostly form with one eyebrow raised. He rolls his eyes, and returns to his spot. Aretha pouts momentarily before smiling widely. "Very nice, Tawny, no matter how much Ghost resents the portrayal."

Tawny just shakes her head at Acala, grinning. "You make me glad I dropped out of high school before I could find myself in college with scary professors."
When she heard Aretha's comment, she snorted. "Oh, come on! I know Ghost loves the attention! But he can't let us know that, because stoic macho types would wear a dress before they would admit to having feelings and needing things."
Tawny managed to keep a straight face for a whole millisecond before bursting into laughter. "I have...got to write that down," She choked out, staggering toward Aretha and making a grab for her notebook.

Acala tisked at Tawny. "You are certainly missing out young lady." "On education," Elise added in, though Acala made a look of incredibility. "Education? I was going to say cafeteria food. Nothing quite like that..."

Aretha chuckles slightly but says nothing. After all, she has nothing worthy to add to the discussion of education.

Having snatched her notebook back, she hugged it to her chest, arcing an eyebrow at Elise and Acala. "You can learn more outside of a school than you can inside it." Yeah, she was one of those hoodlums. "And the cafeteria food at the college can't be any worse than the stuff the high school serves. I could stick a bowling ball to the ceiling with that pasta and cheese mess they serve on Wednesdays."

Acala smiled, shaking her head. "Yah, well school is good for you kid. You find other people with enough braincells to realize that Guardians are jerks," her eyes cautiously made their way over to the very quiet Elise. "Though it looks like you managed too." Being a tease and emphasizing Tawny's youth, she put a hand on the girl's head and messed up her hair, then promptly walked away like it was nothing.
"Anyways," she addressed the larger audience again. "We should get back on track. Elise raised her hand. "Yes Elise," Acala called on her. "I am worried about Kite....I believe that his shift ended twenty minutes ago. Even with traveling, he should have been here by now."

Aretha nods. "Karina promised to check in after she was finished as well." Her face betrays only a slight amount of worry before it returns to it's neutral mask. "I hope that neither of them got into any trouble. We can't afford to lose two such valuable members and friends..."
