Acala, on the other hand frowned at all this and subconsciously folds her arms just slightly. "You seem to forget that in order to pull of such a stunt, someone's life must be risked at the executioner's table. Wasn't part of our cause to prevent that sort of thing in the first place? Or have we degenerated into wanting to be as flashy as Guardians?"
Elise looked up at her friend and leader, and with a silent expression, seemed to convey something to her. Acala cleared her throat. "Granted, I suppose it would be good act to save someone from the stage, but I don't think we should make negatives our priorities."

Aretha's eyes narrow slightly. "I believe you're misunderstanding the idea. The entire point, Acala, is to wait until they're going to execute someone without our interference. It's not as though it's a particularly rare occurance." She rises off the floor, stretching carefully. "If we prepare correctly, we could theoreticaaly be ready whenever they decide to hold and execution."

Tawny's exuberance vanished when Acala spoke, replaced by irritation. Talk about storming on someone's parade. She nodded in agreement with their leader when she spoke, but continued to stare at Acala with arced eyebrows. What she wanted to say was "Jeez, Acala, what is your deal!" but those might prove to be fighting words. So, instead, she stalked back to her patch of wall and let herself drop as she folded her legs beneath her. Then she descended into a stormy silence that was likely to pass quickly but best not be agitated until it passed. One never knew what kind of action this girl might explode into if disturbed while seething.

Aretha watches Tawny warily, and sends another glance at Acala before she moves. She takes her place beside the still seated Ghost. SHe leans against the wall, eyes once more scanning over the room. "But," she says quietly. "If we were to pull off a raid of the Stage of Retribution, we'd have to begin preperations sooner instead of later."

"And if things go awry? Though I suppose there is always the chance that things will go awry, regardless of which mission we partake in. But doing a raid on the Stage of Retribution would be the most dangerous. A large group of Guardians gathered, preparing lethal magic, hundreds of Guardian-worshipping human eyes watching...for the Silver Wolf, she might have had the advantage of being singular in this case, easier to slink away. But a group of rebels along with a short speech could lead to our own 'coup de grĂ¢ce.' So tell us, what sort of preparations do you have in mind that could divert our courses from such a deadly fate?"

Tawny cast one stormy look at Acala. Then her eyes widened in that "Aha!" moment of inspiration, a mischevious smile spread across her features, and she made a grab for her notebook. Opening it to a new page, she began to slash lines on the paper in long, angry strokes, the scrawl of the pen clearly audible.
Poor neglected Skip stuck her head out of the cover Tawny's hood provided and twitched her long whiskers as she surveyed the situation with wide, alert eyes. The loud, long scratches of pen against paper made her nervous, apparently.

"That, Acala, is exactly why we have to start preparations now. We'll need at least six or seven different escape plans, and the same number of ways to get in." She glances at Tawny, but tactfully ignores her angry strokes on the paper. "And our numbers could be an advantage that the Silver Wolf didn't have. Even in a small group of us, ten or less, let's say, because that would be the minimum we could probably pull this off with, we have some reassurances. Had the Silver Wolf been captured that day, it would have been the end of her. But in the confusion, there's a good chance that there would be enough of us to get those who could get captured out of trouble."

Acala leans back against the machine, listening intently. "Alright...In that case, it sounds like we'd need back up scattered in both the crowd and the rooftops. But the problem is, I'm sure Forsaken will be patrolling both areas. So where are you thinking we should swoop down from?"

The scratch of the pen stopped. When Tawny had something to say, she didn't let her present mood get in her way. And she wasn't about to miss out on a good plotting session just because she was annoyed with one of the main plotters. "Well, our best bet will be to blend in with the crowd. So unless there are other people crammed on the rooftops, I think using them as a vantage point would be a bad idea. We'd draw attention to ourselves."
Tawny looked up at the ceiling, biting the end of her pen as she thought over the problem. "But some of us may be in danger of being recognized, even in a crowd. Perhaps we could dye our hair a different color and dress differently, but still discreetly, than we generally do so that none of us are recognized? Just in case." She grinned and added "Incognito.", saying the word the way some people might say "oh, yeeaah."

Aretha nods at Tawny. "The crowds are best. Especially if we can blend into them. Which would mean you'd have to change your clothes, Karina would have to cut or hide her hair, I'd have to find some way to cover my scar, only to name a few," she continues with a sigh. "It'll be a big undertaking."

Acala nods. "True, crowds would be best, but....They are also more difficult to maneuver around. So many people would slow us down. So though crowds are safer, they make things more difficult. In the reverse, rooftops would be easier, with their ideal vantage points and openness, but they'd also be more dangerous."

"Which means, of course, that we'll have to take advantage of both. Put our sneakiest, fastest people on the roofs and those who can blend in better in the crowds," Aretha says with a nod. She glances at Ghost, who silently agrees.

"Oh! And stage some kind of distraction that will keep the Forsaken occupied for a short while!" Once again, the notebook is discarded as Tawny becomes to excited to pay attention to it at the moment. She stands. "This is so cool! We can do this! I know we can! " Cheerful while contemplating a situation that could place her in mortal peril. As always.

"Well then, what would each group be doing, Aretha? People in the crowds will essentially be stuck there, so would it be the rooftop people who'd do the actual saving? " She looked skeptical of the plan, but only because so far, it seemed extremely vague, and like a reiteration of the points she'd just made with an extra tidbit tagged on. This just wasn't anyway to go about making a plan, in her opinion...

Aretha smiles slightly at Tawny's exhuberance, then returns her attention to Acala. "It would, of course, have to be some of the people on the roof and those we could manuever close enough to the Stage doing the actual rescuing. Everyone else would, essentially, be backup, ready to step up or swoop down to intervene if necessary."
