Heheheh. If only we were all still just 14-16. Ah yes, the Golden Age of FF. When everyone in the Family was on here, and no one had IM, and there was no Cbox, so everyone posted as fast as they could to as much as they could like crazy. *nostalgic memories*
Our writing was so terrible then. Probably mostly because of the crazy way we fought to post as fast as possible. But it still was so much fun.
But we're diverging from CM as a topic either way we go. I guess we can't say much more about Rojo and our guilt in concerning him till we hear word from him, so lets talk about CM. I'm not sure where we should go with that thread "Into the Inferno" now. I'm not sure that between the two of us we have enough to do a skirmish, but ending it there also feels very... I don't know, short? What do you want to do?

Well, since our Forsaken have left The Inferno the thread will go into hiatus until another Forsaken arrives. Perhaps three weeks later, in the current time line. That thread is destined to be nothing more than a series of segments focusing on how the Forsaken spend some of their down time. I just think it's an interesting way to showcase some of the tensions between them and the strange undercurrents of their psyche. I should probably put a note concerning this under the Forsaken information thread. Into The Inferno isn't just a thread, it's a place. Or we could just let it be a secret club type thing that only us veterans know about. Anyway, I was thinking that we'd move the thread to the Labyrinth, or some similar place, and have either Zaq or J run into our Forsaken. Since Zaq and J are probably never all that far apart (in my mind they stick together, having an instinctual pack mentality) they would be able to reach each other before it was too late. And the Forsaken, when traveling in a patrol, tend to stay near enough to each other that not one of their number is beyond aid should they need it. I think we could pull off a skirmish. We'd have five characters in this scenario, and if you ask me, Zaq and J would be more than capable of matching the Forsaken. Reece isn't nearly as strong as they are and Asila would be too focused on fighting her urge to to fight Zaq, which would leave Rathkenar as the only truly functional opponent. And this wouldn't be a full-blown battle. Zaq for sure would know that if they stuck around they would be swarmed by more Forsaken, and maybe a Guardian as well. (Most likely T, though in my original stories Somriad had a tendency of checking in as well.) So basically, what I want to happen is for either Zaq or J to wind up surrounded and in need of help from the other if he/she is to escape without serious injury or a high risk of being captured. I volunteer Zaq, and I will begin the new thread if you're game.

So...I would like to talk a bit about what will ultimately become of the captured rebels. Namely Kite and Rena. There are two options, really. A fast rescue and a slow one.
A fast rescue could take place with Dr. Strange as an ally. For he knows the sewers well could break in should we choose to allow it. The second option, the slow rescue, was the obvious one. The Guardian's would do what they would with the rebels in the assumed safety of their fortress and then, once finished, they would bring the rebels to the Stage to burn. And it would be then that the Rebel's could launch their rescue mission.
It's kind of up to you, Aka and Rojo. We'll scheme whichever rescue you would most prefer for your character. It would even be easy enough to do both, since it's easy to imagine that Dr. Strange would only be able to succeed in rescuing one, if he succeeds at all.
Of course, it is too early to worry about this overmuch, but am curious to know what the plan is.

I think a slow, planned rescue would be more fun to write. Lots of space for drama in my opinion-- big, theatrical rescue, yadda yadda or horrible, crippling failure. Either way, I think that either one would work. Back to Aka in the studio.

I know Aka hasn't been around, so I think I might just speak on her behalf. For the captured thread, I think she ran out of things to do, because she had never plotted that far ahead. (She had sort of lost hope for CM when back when, and while she had Ethinae's powers figured out, I think she didn't have how to end the scene through.)
Maybe it would be best if one of the rebels managed to escape, so there's a bit more spice in the captured thread. And that way, the Guardians can get upset, and then decide that an execution must happen the next day with the remaining Rebel as an example, and so they won't have a chance to break out. And this would also be interesting on the Rebellions side, since then they won't have time to really organize a rescue -- they'll just have to rush and try to save their friend.
What do you guys think?
My only problem is that Thrasymachus is still out with Asila on that 'next day', and if there was going to be an execution 'that day', he and she wouldn't have gone out to do T's normal morning patrol. Though we can always say that the events in Getting there either happend a few days after, or probably better yet, we can say that the beginning of the Captured thread happened the day after Getting there (the two rebels were passed out for some 24 hours from...umm....guardian horror-instilling and draining...stuff...), so that things can still be happening in their intended chronological order.

I agree with you completely, Seven! I thought that having one rebel escape while the other remained would the most exciting/interesting option, but I wanted to keep my input to a minimum since it's really Rojo's and Aka's decision. Now the two of them will just have to decide whose character is rescued and who stays behind.
...but could someone give me something to do soon? Please? *puppy dog eyes*
