"um...well..." she looks down shyly, " why don't you just call me whatever you feel like?" she says optimisticaly, trying to cover up her lack of remembrance.

Serena sounds like a good name. And looking at you I'm going to guess that you have an interest in learning...am I correct?

She looks up with innocent confusion, 'I-I don't know...."

Severus looks thoughtful for a moment. Then, with an abrupt CRACK! he disapparates. A minute or two later he appears with a strange array of objects. Amoung them are a very thick book, a cauldron, a leather bag, various unrecognizable objects, and a rather large mallet.

Severus yawns. "It appears, my daydreaming friend, that you have at last forgotten exactly who you are. I intend to remedy this, as I grow weary of hearing you ask moronic questions about yourself of all things . . .”
Severus places all his materials on a nearby table. Flipping the latch on the black bag, he begins to sift through the abyss pulling out various potion ingredients as he goes. He then gives another long yawn, and stretches his arms out.

She watches in awe...then abruptly stops and looks up at him,"so...we're friends?"

Severus rolls his eyes and starts thumbing through the large black book. He suddenly stops, folding the corner of one page. For later . . . Quickly, he flips to another page, and begins to peruse its contents. “Ah yes . . . This should do the trick.” he murmurs.

She unmeaningly peers over his shoulder, out of pure curiousity. "what is that sir?"

“Shhh!” he snaps at her. He hates it when people ask him questions while he’s working. Without another word, he pulls a rubber band out of his pocket. He carefully begins to draw his lanky, black hair into a low ponytail. No sense in letting it get in the way.

Severus sighs and does his best to ignore the scampering. With a slow, thoughtful hand he begins to organize his ingredients, checking their age and anything else that might interfere with his results. When everything appears to be in order, he taps the cauldron with his wand and sets a low, blue flame beneath it.

She sits in silence, letting the stillness fill her vicinity. but lonliness gets the better of her. Just as in the childhood she can no longer remember, she decides to play one of her games...and with in moments, the girl has completely disappeared, having the left the room soundlessly.

Severus notices his patient’s disappearance, but is not at all alarmed. She’ll be back. In the mean time, he begins to brew his potion. Naturally, it is one of the most complex and fiddlely potions anyone could ask for. One wrong turn, and the whole thing will be useless or worse. But thankfully, there are good hands at work here. Humming softly to himself, he skims through the instructions, paying more attention to what he wrote in the margins than anything else. Oh, how he loathes text books.

Serena, as they have thus named her, wander aimlessly through the room. She sneaks into one, gliding by the shadows, observing everything. She hasn't the faintest idea why she's doing this, but it seems enjoyable, like a game. She smiles to herself drifting off into her mind. She doesn't know anyone here and remains friendless. Regardless, she feels happier then most children her age when she sinks into her on world, letting reality twist into nothingness. She dodges left and hides in small crook, then continuing, always moving to never be found.
