Kealya smiled again pulling her shoulders up a bit, looking a little cute. "Humm they are this way and thanks, Mom needs all the help she can get." Kealya leads him down a few halls and opens a door to a room that just smells awful. Kealya doesn't react to the small having become quite used to it. On The floor sits Kioko and her other child Liren both woman at a morder and pestle grinding up from herbs. When the door opens Liren jumps to her feet seeing her sister and runs over to give her a hug. "Kealya! I feel like it's been forever since I saw you last." Kioko doesn't even look up from what she is doing. "Hello Kealya dear and hello again Mikaki. Did you two come to help?"

Mikaki nods, then adds since she's not looking, "Yes Kioko. What is it we can do to help?"

Kioko finely looks up after she is done with what she was doing. "I could always use more hands to help make medicine." Liren sill had her sister in a hug as she looked at her. "And by that mom mean she would like Mikaki to help her and not you Kealya." Kealya tries to push her sister away and fails. "I'm sorry that I am utterly horrible at this! I can't be good at everything. Plus I need to let you be good at lest one thing Liren." Liren glared at her sister now but Kioko stepped in before the two started to do their sisterly fights. "Girls. Kealya you can help roll bandages and Mikaki if you like you can help me and Liren out with the medicine."

Mikaki watched the familial interactions in silence before turning toward Kioko. He assumed she meant she needed help grinding up more herbs, so he simply took a seat where Kioko had been sitting with Liren. "I am at your disposition, Ma'am."

Kealya sat across from him picking up some banged as she began to roll them. Kioko turned to Mikaki and pointed to the herbs in front of him. "These are what we are working with right now. I placed them in the order they need to be added to each other. It's very important that you do this or--" "Or you will make a very deadly poison right Kealya?" Liren had cut her mother off grinning at her sister. Kealya looked up at her sister with a blank look on her face. "It was one time Liren and you wont let me forget that will you?" "Nope!" Liren smiled happily at this picking up another morder and pestle sitting down next to her sister and beginning to grind herbs again.

Mikaki listened, then shrugged slightly, unconvinced. "Anyone can be good at anything. It only takes practice and patience," he said, as he began to get to work himself. "If Kealya made so deadly a mistake, it's simple to see why she might not pick it up again--though it's hardly fair to say she's not good at it, I think." After a short pause, he continued, "So what happened?"

Kioko gave a little laugh to this now looking to her oldest child who was now trying to look busy. "The worlds you speak are corrected Mikaki but..." Kealya now looked up at him. "I have practice and tryed to fallow in my mothers foot steps but this is just something I'm not good at." Now she gave a little laugh. "All these plants look to much alike for me and so I just added them together thinking that it would have been all right but..." Kealya falls a bit silents looking away now and Liren stepped in to finish the story. "She thought it would have been a good idea to try the new medicine out, which isn't that unusable for us to do but when she threw up and started shivering mother knew she had made a poison. Lucky for Kealya mother was there to give her an anitode to it and she is fine now but--" "But I learned the hard way what not to do and it wouldn't be the last time that would happen to me so I gave up. I can't be good at everything and I am all right with that."

"In any case, for whom are we making so many medicines? Does it have anything to do with the new influx of princes and their parents arriving?"

Kioko nodded her head at this. "Yes it's for the contest that is coming up. We are making everything from simple pain killers to herbs to put into open cuts to stop infection. Liren and I will have our work cut out of us in these new few days or maybe even weeks."

Mikaki seemed to consider this oddly. "They are gods, supposedly, are they not? Why is it that they need such earthly remedies? No offense to your work, Kioko."

To this all the girls look to each other and then back to Mikaki. "Wow he really isn't from here." Kioko snaps her head in Liren's direction. "Liren!" She lowers her head now at that. "Well I'm not sure how it works where you come from but gods don't heal people. For a god to heal a person they must take the injury or illness onto themselves and to have a god that isn't able to work at their full potential is very dangerous." Kealya says looking up at him.

Mikaki furrowed his brows at this knew knowledge. "That is... so strange...." Mikaki murmured under his breath. "...Then again, magic healing seemed so common place where I came from, with all the angels. And us of some demonic lineage, given that we're an derivation of angels in actuality, had our own rendition of that as well..."

Kioko looks back down to what she was doing. "Well if any angels show up here can you send them my way? It will make my work load a lot lighter." Liren nodes her head at this and then stops. "What's an angel?" Kealya looks to her sister now and thinks and looks to Mikaki. "What is an angel?" "A being that is mostly composted of light, love, and all things good. They want to help others." Kioko's eyes glance back up to Mikaki now. "Correct?"

Mikaki blinked. Wasn't this supposed to be a different universe...?
He simply nodded stoically.

Kealya stares at her mother now looking very comfused. "Mom..." Kioko looks to her now with that same motherly smile on her face. "Did you forget that your father came from the same place as Mikaki? He told me stories about his home and I remember him talking about angels once a long time ago." "Oh well I guess that would explain it." Kioko stand up now picking some jars up. "Kealya can you come with me for a moment I need you to help me with something. Liren stay here and keep working we need to get this all done by tomorrow." Kealya nodded her head and stood up to fallow her mother out of the room.
Liren watched them and as soon as they left turned to look at Mikaki. "So... Do you like my sister?"
