So, I decided that I've hogged up way too many art threads for way too long, for just posting individual pics with no theme or trend to them. So it was decreed that I would have my own thread just for posting the crappy little pictures I occasionally draw. And I might as well start off with a reeeeeeeeaaaaaally crappy one. This picture will probably not make sense to...anyone but Aka. *shrugs* Oh well. It might be a bit nostalgic for Pan. The thing is...I started drawing this picture sometime in 2010. Or rather, I drew Trefoil, the biggest person on this picture, started to draw Rue, gave up, and forgot about it. But it always bugged me seeing this dumb thing incomplete, so I decided, "What the hell--even if it sucks, it'll at least be finished." Here it is: The other thing is, as I got progressively lazy, I decided to sort of give a nod to a similar picture of a similar nature that I did back in 2005 or 2006. That one was based off of (essentially) the same story--sort of a pre-Blood Before called Crystal World. Except that one sort of died for a bunch of dumb reasons. Before it died, Daemon entered the plot and he so generously decided to do a drawing for me which summarized all of the characters in Crystal world in his "high art" (i.e., crappy line doodles). This sort of pays homage to that. "Book 4 in a Nutshell"; all of the main characters, and how they're clearly doing so well. In case you can't read the handwriting, it goes like this: (Warning, Spoilers--not that anyone cares.) 1) Totally-NOT-checking-out-Rue-Right-Now Trefoil: check 1.5) Totally-NOT-the-biggest-thing-on-this-page: check 2) Totally-NOT-oblivious-about-Tref Rue: Check 3) Totally-NOT-screwing-with-Tref Spichkin: Check 4) Totally-NOT-Emo Delia: Check 5) Totally-NOT-talking-to-a-potted-plant...again Denresh: Check Denresh: Aliena! 6) Totally-NOT-going-to-wind-up-frustrated Aliena: Check Aliena: I'm over here, Denresh... Potted Plant: ... 7) Totally-NOT-a-god-damn-traitor Theron: Check 7.5) Totally-NOT-getting-lazy-at-drawing-here: check 8) Totally-FINE-GOD-DAMNIT-!!!! Wasewg: Check <=> Bang (x73681) Wasweg: Angst...angst... 9) Totally-at-a-loss-for-what-to-do Wes: Check Wes: <Shit.> Daemon says that his is a lot better. I'd have to agree.

*cracks up* Oh, this is adorable! And I know just enough about BB that it all makes sense to me. Though I was surprised to hear that Theron was a traitor. But I LIKED him, god damn it! Ugh, I totally pick out the traitor guy to have a crush on in every story that has more than one guy to choose from. What is UP with that? Anyway, my favorite pair is Wes and Wasewg. Mostly because Wes is acting exactly the way I would in that situation. As in, at a complete and total loss for how to react in situations of intense emotion. Hopefully she hasn't been getting into as much trouble as I wind up in in situations like that. But for some reason, I think she probably has been. *winces* Poor Wes. Trefoil is really pretty, by the way. I don't know why you don't like him. He always looks fantastic in your pictures. Which I think means that, subconsciously, you are actually quite fond of him. SO WHY CAN'T YOUR CONSCIOUS MIND JUST ACCEPT HIM AS HE IS AND BE HAPPY?!!! But yeah, I love your drawings! And your text! It was so much fun to read.

I'm glad this wasn't too confusing for you--even if you don't know the storyline of book 4. Sorry about the spoilers. Both Aka and I were wondering if you'd still like Theron once it was revealed that he's a spy/traitor to the group. Or, you know, you could interpret it as Delia being the traitor, and Theron's just doing what a slightly less insane elf would do. *shrugs* I guess you'll eventually just have to read the rest of the books so you can come up with your own conclusion!
*laughs* But it's still funnier to think that you have a subconscious draw to every traitor in the literary world. Maybe you should have hooked up with Judas.
*grins* I like Wasewg/Wes best too. Well, in terms of humor anyawys. I recognize that Tref is the best drawn one on this page. So, in response to your comment TREF LOOKS SO GOOD BECAUSE I DREW HIM A YEAR AGO WHEN I WAS TAKING THIS PICTURE SEMI-SERIOUSLY! The rest just sort of were shat out in a faster pace and weren't bothered with as much do to laziness. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH MY SUBCONSCIOUS AND I REFUSE TO ACKNOWLEDGE ANY SORT OF LUDICROUS POSSIBILITY OF THAT!
But I'm glad you like it anyways. ;D

I probably would have hooked up with Judas. *grumbles* Really, though, I still like Theron. I think he's a great character. And it sounds like he had some sound reasons for doing what he did. *is stubborn*
Anyway...*clears her throat* JUST ACCEPT THAT YOU LOVE TREFOIL, GOD DAMN IT!!! What are you so afraid of, anyway? That he might secretly love you back? And that then you would be secretly in love with yourself? *is teasing*

*grins* I like Theron too. You should try to coerce Aka into playing more scenes with him. Actually, I really like Rue's bastard father, Kaito. He seems really interesting to me. All mad, brilliant scientist-y... I do hate Rue's ex-boyfriend though--he's arrogant is the obnoxious prick sort of way. I should try to get you to read the rest of BB--even if you despise it as you do! *grins* As for Judas---aww, you two would be such a cute couple!
*snorts* Oh god, you don't know how that made me laugh. YES ASILA--YES! TREFOIL AND I ARE MADLY IN LOVE--BUT IT IS NEVER MEANT TO BE! THUS, I CAN ONLY ASPIRE TO HATE HIM AND HOPE THESE HORRIBLE FEELINGS GO AWAY! *ehem* On a serious note, I do really like how Trefoil looks. Still, that has nothing to do with being pleased about how he acts.

It's not that I don't like BB! It's just so hard for me to follow a story that I have to read online! I never finish anything I start reading on the internet. I even stopped following the scanalations that I loved. I even stopped reading Homestuck weeks ago. I can't even explain what it is that gets to me. I mean, I'm on FF a lot, but I think the only reason I don't mind the role-playing scene is because I get to interact, and that keeps me wrapped up in what's going on. But if I can't interact with the internet, I don't want to have to be on it.
I don't know. I just don't make sense.
But I'm glad that I made you laugh! I try. And I have noticed that your drawings of Trefoil are always beautiful. So what is it that you don't like about how he acts, anyway?

No, I understand. *pouts* I'm sad to hear about homestuck. It sounded like you were really enjoying that too. And I doubt they'll be coming out with a print version of that anytime in the next decade. *teasing* Well, whatever the case, I'm glad that we have you here on FF. It'd be BEYOND TRAGIC if the same reading on the internet thing applied to rps.
Yeah...Tref is a pretty boy. Possibly my prettiest of pretty boys. But as far as he acts...*sighs* I don't know. I don't think I play him in a very consistent fashion. The other thing that has bothered me a bit is that I originally was trying to play him off as the "tricky, clever fox," but he ended up being wrong in regards to everything he's suggested, and he contradicts the statements he's made almost constantly. So he's neither consistent as a character nor clever. And I guess part of the problem is that all of the other characters in BB were essentially already made when we started, except for Tref. So, I was trying to figure out what exactly his personality was as we were writing...and I think that's part of the reason why I feel like it's all over the board.

I really was enjoying homestuck. *sighs* I'll have to try and make another attempt at reading some of the stuff I've fallen behind on this summer, BB included. I'll make it a month if I'm lucky. But it really is a good thing FF is different. Or at least different enough that I always come back. I'd be lonely if I vanished.
And I can see what you're saying with Trefoil. I mean, I get frustrated whenever I think for a second that my character has contradicted his or herself, and most of the time I have no legitimate reason to think that way. Still, it's never too late for character evolution! Trefoil still has a chance.

Yeah...I was enjoying homestuck too for a while (back an odd year or two ago), so I know the feeling. But, as much as part of me wants to pick it up again, the other part knows how much there is to catch up on, and how frustrating it can be trying to get through so much stuff on the internet.
Well, I have to admit, I have been liking Trefoil quite a bit more in the more recent books. Aka might have to kill me for this later, but I've found that I find him much more interesting and easier to play now that he--
