All right, here's the trial run. It's not complete or polished at all, but I've got the basic idea down. I drew in the simple figure with the idea that you could possibly substitute Kaelya(?) in it's place. I'm not feeling really great about Sha's design right now. I don't think her head is shaped quite right. I want to make her look more elegant. And she wasn't supposed to have wings, but I wanted to play with the idea... ...*face palms* All right, just ignore the wings. But, for clarification, is Sha supposed to look like an Asian dragon? Because they are serpentine. Or is she more like a wingless mix between the Asian and Western dragon, meaning that she would have a very long, sinuous form but a more defined skeletal structure beneath the scales? Hmm, I think I'm just going to have to keep drafting up different designs until I get it.

First I have to say I do love the wings but you are right she does not have them. Its looks really nice thought and it is nice to look at. Second, yes she is base more off a Asian dragon I was trying to stay away from the western look. I think the asian dragons look a lot prittyer. Thired, i love how her head look! But if you think it need a little change go for it! But the spine on her back should be down her whole body because she uses them in her attacks. Play around with the spines a bit and have fun with them. And lastly, you made the body shape just right for me to stick Kealya in it when you have finished drawing sha! I can't wait now!! XD Oh crap I forgot to tell you about the mark on Sha's face when she is in her dragon form! It look like this. ok so as you can see it is two small cereals and a cerason moon. in this i have it all one color but it is not supposed to be filled in ok.

Wings are just fun to draw. Which is probably the reason I usually draw Western dragons instead of Asian ones, even though I also think Asian dragons are more beautiful. At least, they are as a general rule. I actually like my Western dragons quite a bit. Anyway, I'll just erase the wings. Maybe I can draw in some curling fiery flourishes instead. Asian dragons are usually portrayed with them, and the flames wouldn't have to be actual fire. Perhaps they could be her aura, or a manifestation of her power... Well, if you like the way her head looks, I think I'll leave it. Now that I've left the picture alone for a while and regained some perspective, I think she looks good. My problem is that I just wanted to go for pristine beauty, but there's no way to achieve that look without making her look cold and distant. But I wanted her to look friendlier, so I settled on the features she has now instead. If I have time, I'll sketch an alternative and we can see if you like that version more. I did plan on having the spines go all the way down to the tip of her tail. I only stopped because I had an attack of uncertainty. I realized my vision of Sha was kind of murky and I wanted to get everything straightened out before I went any farther. And I kind of want to play with a different style for her spines. And I'll add in her markings, too, now that I have them. Yep, I still have a good amount to straighten out to my satisfaction. I'll try to have the picture done by the weekend, though! I'm kind of excited to see how the entire picture will look once you've added in Kaelya, so I want to get my part done fast! ;D

XD i cant wait to see her done. I also want to tell you that Sha does not breath fire, she breaths lightning if you want to put that in. But I like how you are going to play around with her a bit. I can't wait to see what you are going to make her look like!

Hmm, I can probably work with that. But Sha definitely has spines instead of fins, right? And do you like that dragon's horns?
