What lies hidden in the mists of the woods?

Walking nearly as quietly as a hunting beast, Morgan made her way from shadow to shadow cast by the large buildings and factories. She wasn't out of breath even after running at least three miles. Glancing over her shoulder Morgan made sure no one was getting too close to her. Morgan had been chased so many times while she was a Thief, but none of the chasers had ever been smarter than Morgan. The first thing any good thief learned was her city and all her escape routes, it had done Morgan good. Now that she wasn't a thief any more, Morgan didn't have much to worry about, but it was just her natural instincts to retain her thief training. Walking a bit more calmly now, Morgan slipped from the shadows only to go back into them, she'd heard a soft step and she didn't want to be caught. Ducking into a deeper shadow, her frosty ice-blue eyes searched for the owner of the step.

A man in a bomber jacket and worn trousers walked down the street, coughing into his hand. He doesn't notice Morgan as he walks past, disappearing into the mist, his coughing becoming more and more quieter until it is gone completely.
However, another person is moving. Not so far away and leaning in a small aclove stood what appeared to be a person of human build. His face is covered in shadow, but his arms extend out in front of him, holding a large piece of paper and showing he is wearing something yellow and black gloves. According to his map, Ezio was not far away from three warehouses he knew would have already been searched and re-searched by both The Rebellion and The Night Patrol now. Of course if those weren't available there was a half-collapsed old library about half a mile away west that he could shelter in. Of course he could just poke around the sewers for a bit-- there were some tunnels around the south-east side of Manticore he wanted to sketch out. "Hmm..." he said to himself, stepping out into the pale moonlight, revealing his figure more. His yellow macintosh seemed flourescent in the white half-light of the evening. His breathing sounded alien and harsh through his gasmask, those black one-way mirror eyes staring at the map blankly.
Ezio decided he would look around the sewers for a while. He traced his index finger around the map before stopping and tapping the nearest manhole. He opened his bag carefully, rolling up the map like a scroll and putting it with the others and closed his bag again. He checked his Winchester was strapped to his coat and set off at a jog out of the alley, ready to do some exploring.
Then he crashed into Morgan from behind. Ezio was sent tumbling over the crouching thief, falling flat on his front.

It didn't take Morgan long to find the master of the step. He crashed into her. A silent yelp escaped from her lips as the man went sprawling. The gas mask over her face muffled it some as she stood back up and looked at him. The moonlight reflected in her soft red hair and her frosty ice-blue eyes flashed a little as she spoke. "I think you aught to watch where you're going next time." Morgan told him as she crossed her arms over her chest, her black clothes hid her fairly well in the shadows as she gazed at the man on the ground, actually in Morgan's opinion it was rather amusing to see him sprawled on the ground.

Ezio pulled himself up, not turning to Morgan he just hoisted his rifle up its sling more. "Sorry." He mumbled, barely audible, before moving off at a slower pace, not even bothering to look around.

Amusement crossed Morgan's face as she looked at the man. His mumbled sorry was barely audible, but Morgan heard it. Then with a calm voice she spoke again. "I'm Morgan, I've just come here and have barely escaped some of my pursuers. Frankly I thought you were one of them. What are you doing out here now?" She asked, her curiosity had won out over her common sense. Maybe this man could help her get used to this new city. She waited for him to speak again.

Ezio paused in his action of walking away. Surely she wasn't talking to him? What buisness could this total stranger have with him? If he would have had it his way, Ezio would have walked off then and there and washed his hands of this buisness of talking to strangers who gave away their name and purpose so freely. But apparently it was impolite to forget your manners-- especially to a lady, though Ezio personally had never really seen the interest in women other men seemed to have. Men, women, it's all the same to him. "Sewers. Mapping out. Stretching my legs." He said through his mask, the sound muffled. He didn't turn around to face Morgan, but he slowed his pace from his fast walk to dawdling meander.
