Now that the majority of the Guardians that will be on the playing field are finally on the board, everyone with a Forsaken character gets to choose who they want to assign their character to.
I do want to clarify that, while Somriad does have one Forsaken (Asila) already, she is going to wind up under the relative control of a new owner because Somriad is a Machiavellian sadist. Not that this detail matters much, because he is powerful enough to control more than one Forsaken, anyway.
And with that small note now out of the way, let the speculation begin!

*ehem*
Just for clarification on Asila's ever cryptic second sentence/paragraph....Asila is going to be handed over to Thrasymachus as a cruel joke.
So no one can lay claim on either one of them. (Thrasymachus, since as a halfling, has not been granted permission to curse anyone himself, and Asila since she's technically Somriad's, temporarily gifted to Thrasymachus. The two are being paired because Somriad was finding Asila unpredictable and difficult to handle, for one. And that assigning her to Thrasymachus worked out perfectly because it would allow Somriad to keep an eye an Thrasymachus, and put him in his place even while giving him a bit more power to accomplish the tasks the Guardians assign him.)
However, Somriad can still have other Forsaken. And of course, all they other Guardians/Forsaken are up for grabs. So have fun.

Whatever. Tirenius - Desire
Holy burning cows I actually thought of a reason for this. Being a physically weak being, Desire might enjoy having a servant as strong as Tirenius to do his bidding.

I was thinking Mireta could be Evangeline's Forsaken, partially because it would explain the intensity with which Mireta hates the Rebellion (which began with her own experiences but was spurred on by Evangeline's "kindness") but also, more superficially, because Evangeline seems to like pretty things and Miranda (before the curse) was a very pretty child.
Or.... She could belong to Somriad, simply because she can take the abuse.
Or, to put it another way, I don't really care. Either's fine with me.

to Rojo: Be warned. Tirenius will probably end up raped in that case. A couple times. *dark chuckle* I was intending to reveal that Desire is sadist and bastard enough to torture his Forsaken that way. Are you sure you can handle it?
Other than that, I do see the pairing making a lot of sense. (Actually, even with that the pairing would make sense, I'm just not sure you'd want to endure that...)
To Aka: Aww, you don't want to consider Aine the narcissist?
And I wonder who would fit best with Prometheus? I mean, from what I gathered from your profile, Rojo, he seems strangely nice towards Forsaken. Which means the older, twisted and mental destroyed Forsaken wouldn't work as well. Unless I'm just misunderstanding something?

To Aka: I think a Mireta/Evangeline pairing would be perfect. It really is entirely like her to choose a beautiful young woman for her Forsaken. And there are other reasons that are only just beginning to form in my mind, but I'll work my way through those while I'm writing. They are just vague impressions, for now.
Which means Somriad can take Reece if he isn't right for Prometheus.

Oh, I like Somriad-Reece. Somriad's cruelty and over all sense of power would certainly explain Reece's delusional, screwed up behavior. Let's go with that. And Mireta/Evangeline would also make a lot of sense.

To Seven: Well, maybe that's why he so reserved? Anyway, it's not about me, it's about Tirenius. He can endure it, I'm sure.

*Nods* I'm sure. I think Tirenius and Desire would be a good pairing, in any case.
