Well, originally, I was going to put these two under humans, but I decided 'what the hell, Aka says she needs more Rebels to balance things out, so I'll make them rebels.' (Plus, I don't know how much of an opportunity to react with other character I would have had if they were just human...) I just needed to add an extra 'present day' part to their history, so it didn't really change much. I'm calling it tag-team because there's going to be two profiles on here. Anyways, I'm rambling like an idiot again, so I'll just stop. Here.
Name: Acala Menadid
Age: 29
Race: Human
Description or Picture: Dark tan skin, black hair, black eyes, and features that are reminiscent of Indian descent (or rather, formally Indian, as India is of the Ancient world....), except a hooked nose. She stands at 5" 7' with a somewhat thick build. She's not exceptionally pretty, or rather pretty by conventional standards, but...
Personality: ...she is unusually charismatic. Ruthless and clever, she pairs these traits with a black and white view of the world. Radical in every way, and once she has set her mind on something, she is stubborn and uncompromising. She is a scheming culprit in every sense, occasionally bordering on the line of sadism. Except she does not see any fault in herself for this; she considers herself more along the lines of avenging angel who will ensure justice at all costs.
History(optional): ((I'm going to try to make this quick...)) Acala was orphaned at the age of 7. She lost both of her parents because they were all too willing to serve the Guardians, and for that fault, they went to battle with the werewolves and never returned. Having no other family, she lived in an orphanage run by Christian, Guardian-Worshiping nuns for her adolescent years. Soon, she started developing her 'stop at nothing' radical beliefs. And as her resentment and hatred grew, so did her radical thoughts. She quickly deduced that the only reason that Guardians demonized Werewolves was to distract from the fact that they were demons as well. But unlike other Rebels, who mean to help Loup Garou, her accusations blame the werewolves as well. She despises everything that is non-human; the most compassionate she can be towards non-humans are those of mixed lineage, but deep down, she wishes to abdicate the world of those as well. Yes, Acala's intentions are to lead a revolt of humanity against both Werewolves and Guardians, until no trace is left of either. The Ancient World fascinates her (hence, in present times, she works a day job as an ancient civilization professor at a college), and she knows that humans were once the greatest creature to roam the Earth. Her desire is to lead her people out of their blindness and restore their authority over the world (even if the world is a barren wasteland). And mass genocide is the only means to ensure that no creature, Guardian or Werewolf, ever enslaves man in such a humiliating fashion again. Others cannot be trusted; Werewolves and Guardians alike were the forces of evil that destroyed humanity and the world.
She began training herself for what she knew would be her mission in the future at the age of 13, managing more and more everyday to avoid the watchful eyes of the nuns. When she moved out as an adult, she began to study the ancient world at the college level. In her classes, she was reunited with an old friend, Elise, (one who was adopted fairly earlier, as compared to her who was never the lucky one to get picked) who was also majoring in Ancient studies, but with a theological concentration. Knowing that she would need a 'sidekick' to her 'superhero,' Acala began to carefully divulge her opinions, and persuaded Elise to join her cause. Though Elise was orignally a werewolf sympathizer, little by little, through almost subliminal persuasion, she turned her against them as well (or so she believes.) After completing their PH.Ds, the girls became professors at the very same college--a front of course, (one that provides money as well) to their real purposes.
Originally, Acala thought that perhaps it would be a good idea to allow the Guardians to 'finish off' the werewolves, before starting a revolution against them. That way, humanity would only have to deal with one foe, not two. But the more she thought of it, she realized that human lives would be the ones sacrificed anyways in destroying the werewolves. And more importantly, in killing the werewolves first, the Guardians would have completed their master plan. (She's assured they must have one, though she doesn't know what it must be.) She figures that if all the werewolves were to go extinct first, humans would be at greater danger. Plus, there's no way to tell how long it would be before all werewolves went extinct, and she's not about wait that long. She's too impatient to sit idly by when she knows she is must forge the past to paradise for humanity. Therefore, she revised her plans, making taking down the Guardians her first priority. After that, the werewolves, already dying out, should be no problem. And for that reason, Acala (with Elise) joined the Rebellion. For now, they're going to stop at nothing to destroy the Guardians. Of course, the rebellion doesn't realize that Acala also has no sympathy toward the weres they are saving (only considering them pawns in this game), nor real loyalty to the entire cause of the rebellion. And thus, she's only there until the next rebellion comes about.
Hers.
Political Standing: Currently to the rebels. However, her true alliance is only to humanity.
Abilities (optional Extremely resourceful fighter and investigator with athlete-level strength and good hand to hand combatant skills. She is of a mediocre-beginner gymnast level.
Weaknesses (optional): Her humanity. When it comes down to it, she's nothing more than an adequate fighter. No special powers or special weaknesses here.
