Name: Desire Reedira
(The first name is not pronounced like the word "desire," but rather as "Deh-sir-eh. The surname is "Ree-dir-ah.")
Age: 125
Race: Guardian
Description or Picture: Desire is six foot even, and with a lean frame. He has one of the more golden color schemes about him. His somewhat long hair is the color of red gold, and it shines like it's been powdered with diamond dust. The long tresses are wavy, but unlike human hair which has a disheveled quality about it, his waves are uniform, reminiscent of the rolling waves of the sea. His pale skin also seems to have a slight golden glow to it, as if he's been sun-kissed and the light perpetually plays on his features. Desire's eyes match the reddish tone of his hair; they have that same color of the rare pink diamond, shining just as brightly as one as well. Depending on the light or lack thereof, his eyes seem to become slightly darker or paler, allowing the pink to become less or more pronounced. Desire only wears the finest clothing, but most have an almost robe-like quality about them. (Perhaps, imagine the mixture of a Hanfu with a modernized, westernized twist.) The clothing he wears is impractical for fighting, implying he rarely sullies his hands.
Personality: Very calm and easy going to the point of being unsettling. As though not a single thing could upset him--making his face seem almost mask like in its indifference. His form of sadism is subtle because he looks so kind. In the same right, Desire is like the trustworthy nice guy you ask to walk you home everyday because you fear running into psychopaths and serial killers, only to find out one day that he's been arrested for several accounts of murder and keeping a dungeon filled with slaves in his basement. Not that such analogy could work in these times, since a Guardian would not get arrested for such an atrocity.
History(optional): Desire is a friend of Somriad...Perhaps even a good friend or best friend, by Guardian standards. Though Guardians are all allied to one another, there is a narcissistic quality about them that makes them try to undermine others and raise their own prestige when given the chance. Desire is no different here. And given Somriad's importance, this feeling might be quiet, but all the stronger. However, since Desire can't take that frustration out on Somriad and quite find a way to undermine him without losing the connection of having a friend in high places (i.e. if he tries to undermine Somriad, then Desire would find himself losing his 'high rank'), he finds other people beneath him to tease and make feel inferior (to increase his feelings of superiority, of course). His favorite target is his unworthy second cousin. He laughs at how the poor man's endless strife and persistent determination. Especially since he knows that no matter what his cousin does, he's not going to go anywhere, rendering his conviction useless. But what great sport he makes! After all, it's not exactly like Caveryn has any other half guardians, half humans to tease.
Political Standing: To the Guardians.
Abilities (optional): ((....I hate doing abilities, so I won't. Though I'm sure his abilities are not unusual; probably just strong magic of the Guardian nature.))
Weaknesses (optional): Apart from the hidden weakness of Guardians, Desire is simply not much of a fighter. While his magic is quite powerful, and his control over minions and tools is superb, when confronted with having to do actual, real battle, he becomes skittish and wary. But he likes to think of himself as a commander, not a foot soldier, so why should he have to do something as dirty as fighting anyways? (Of course, this is just a clever way of saying cowardice.)
