Name: Karina Belin (called Rena)
Age: 20
Race: Lou Garou (1/2 human, and 1023/1024 Loup Garou, if you need to get technical about it.)
Description or Picture: Karina is of medium height and build, slight but muscled, and tall but not overly so. Her skin is pale and unblemished, more due to the lack of light in Manticore than genetics. Her hair is long and slightly scruffy; a dark, slightly ashy blonde that frizzes to her hips when it isn’t contained in a thick rope of hair. Two thick tufts of bangs hang down, almost completely obstructing her large eyes. When covered by the thick curtain of her hair, her eyes appear to be an unassuming shade of brown. However, when her hair is pushed back, and the light can hit her eyes, it’s proven not to be true. That unaccounted for 1/1024 of her bloodline popped up quite unexpectedly in Karina, rearing its ugly head in her eyes. A deep shade of purple, a throwback from her great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather, a Zyren, they are flecked with gold. The combination, when kept in darkness, looks simply like brown, which Rena takes full advantage of.
Her manner of dress is fairly downplayed: simple black trousers, a long sleeved black shirt, and black boots. However, her outfit can be recognizable, because over the black, she wears a grayish-brown overcoat that swishes to midcalf. Super-imposed over the coat is a black vest, making it very noticeable if the right eyes are looking. Her only excuse for insisting to wear it, despite its identifying factors, is that her hair is just as bad.
Personality: Rena has a varied personality. Cold and calculation, she has no problems putting her own welfare over that of anyone else’s, all while making other believe she is working for them. However, she has a very loyal quality, even though no one can put a finger on why. She is quiet until she is sure those around her are trustworthy, then she transforms into a sarcastic, loud-mouth. Overall, she is a very contradictory individual.
History(optional): Rena’s history falls along the same lines as so many other part-wolves in Manticore. Her family was fairly large, with a large margin for mistakes. It was only a matter of time until one of her siblings made an error and alerted the Guardians to their presence. Karina was lucky; she was out visiting a family friend when the Forsaken attacked, and returned just in time to watch the Forsaken abscond from the house and light it aflame.
Karina dropped off the radar for some time, before resurfacing to grudgingly join the Rebellion just under a year ago. She joins them at dusk, but never sleeps with the others. She is present for the majority of the meetings, but is otherwise she seems to have something better to do.
Political Standing: Rebellion supporter
Abilities (optional): Rena’s is a fair fighter, nothing spectacular, but able to hold her own. Her real value is her ability to steal. She is a veritable arsenal of weapons filched from anywhere she can get them, and is a notorious food thief, providing some sustenance to the Rebellion. However, not all of the food she steals makes it back to the Rebellion, and no manner of poking or prodding can persuade her to reveal where it goes.
Weaknesses (optional): Whereas Rena almost never loses her nerve when out on some thievery, the same cannot be said for when in a fight. She is a firm believer in ‘live to fight another day,’ and as such is much more willing to run than stand her ground.
