All right, we've all seen this before. I'm just going to post the basic outline for your character's profile here, so that everyone knows that I expect a profile consisting of pretty much the same information found in the other group role-playing boards.
So...all you have to do is fill this out and make me a happy person. *exaggerated smile of the kind that focuses light like a magnifying glass and blinds people with it's obnoxious brilliance*
Name:
Age:
Race:((Loup-garou(werewolf), Human, Guardian, Forsaken,...Zyren.))
Description or Picture:
Personality:
History(optional): ((...though everyone should start with at least a political standing, even if you have a mysterious character whose history you want to keep to yourself. This is an intense world, spawned by my dark mind, and wishy-washy characters are not going to survive for long. It is all right to be neutral, but only if your character is as brain-washed by Guardian propaganda as the general population of Manticore is. But the situation will become dangerous once that character begins to associate with Rebels or those whose lineage is even part loup-garou, or even if they just start to ask questions that can be overheard by the wrong people. The Guardians have a zero-tolerance policy for this sort of thing. And, if your character lives in Wyvern, it will be hard for all but the most doggedly carefree individual to remain indifferent when everyone around you fears the day that the Guardians will discover how to dismantle the city's defenses and destroy both it and everyone who has taken shelter within it's boundaries. These are hard times.))
Political Standing: ((...just put the political stuff here. All you have to do is specify whose side your character is on. Are they allied with the Gaurdians? The Loup-garou? Are they nuetral? Also, if they are part of the Rebel movement, that specification should go here. All of this will be clarified in descriptions of the different factions, so make sure you read up on them if your character is going to be a part of that group/groups.))
Abilities (optional):
Weaknesses (optional):
((About abilities and weaknesses...the reason that they are optional is that races like that of the Guardians, some of the Forsaken, and the Zyren are very powerful and can only be defeated by a stronger individual or group. In a battle, the winner will be decided by superior, or a more descriptive, fighting style and resourcefulness. Basically, when the characters are equally powerful, it's the better fighter that wins. I think everyone here is responsible enough, and enough of a good sport, for these lax standards to be adequate. But if not...well, prepare to face the wrath of one of my regulators. (Regulator being my dramatic word for my powerful characters. Hey, it's my world, I control it, don't fight me! *scary face*
*grins* Don't take me too seriously. I don't think running around bullying people is any fun, so I won't make it a habit. I promise.)
Also, just because your character is of a race that possesses a great deal of power doesn't mean that they don't have personal weaknesses. Perhaps your Guardian isn't exactly valor incarnate and has no confidence in battle unless he/she has his opponent out-numbered and out-matched. Or, if your Forsaken character is newly-created, he/she may not have perfect control over his/her new volatile powers. I'll give a basic list of weaknesses and strengths for each race/faction when I write about it under Codes of Conduct, so be sure to look up what you need to!))
