You haven't lived until you've seen this music video. It's absolutely magnificent on so many levels...the lead singer has the voice of one of the angels the song is named after and the music video delivers a message that I found both intriguing and powerful... But I won't explain any more. Just watch it! www.youtube.com/watch?v=VK9qfVQ4Z04((I couldn't figure out how to directly link the video to my post, because I'm an idiot. *frowns and thinks up a nicer word* I mean, special. *grins*))

Ah, I know this song. I also love Within Temptation's "Angels." She does have a beautiful voice. I don't completely agree with you on the music video though. It was nice, except at the end, I found the girl's wings to be dramatically cheesy and fake looking. It sort of ruined the moment for me. After I saw them, it was difficult to take the mini-plot seriously.

Yeah, the wings were pretty fake and I did spend a moment thinking What the heck?!! but I let it go. That's probably because I'd never heard the song until I saw the music video, so the song itself had already run off with my mind. I didn't get to be as picky as I usually am.
If I had loved the song before I saw the video, on the other hand, the wings would have agitated me a whole lot more.
Still, the wings were the only flaw in the music video. Everything else was done well. I liked it. *is obstinate*

Yeah, that was my problem. This wasn't new for me, I had first listened to it a couple years ago. Ironically, also as a music video. Just not the actual music video. Pan showed it to me in the form of a fan-made anime-music video, which was the result of some quiz-date game she was taking. The song was really pretty, though the amv was bad.
Still, she promptly went to go download it and I have heard it ever since.

Lucky. I really want to track down the CD now. The lead singer of Within Temptation has an even better voice than Amy Lee. *sighs wistfully* I really want to sing like that. Though I don't really see the point, since singing in front of people terrifies me.

Hahah, I know what you mean. But then again, maybe if you had a voice like that, you wouldn't be so terrified, eh?
