History: Malevolos's father was an exhiled Clan dragon. He had an unsatiable desire to wipe out the human race and bring the dragons back into power. Of course, the Elders would not tolerate such a thing and he was promptly banished. Oddly enough, his father never held his exhile against the dragon clan. Instead, he nursed a great hatred for the human race, for to him it was men that had brought on the dragons' downfall and the neccesity for a new humble philosphy. Malevolos picked up most of his odd philosophy from his father. His mother was a demon, the stereotype version with great leathery wings and luminous red eyes. She was beautiful and terrifying...but did not care much for her son. She was one of those mothers that, once she falls in love for a man, couldn't care less about the offspring she produced. Considering his lineage, it is not at all surprising that Malevolos is a domineering, sadistic, and terrifyingly charismatic individual. He is very fond of chaos and destruction and has wandered the world for some time now, testing his strength on lesser creatures and humans. He believes now that he can rule them all. When he had returned to the Great Clan in search of followers, he had found a worthy ally in Saika, who was an adept wind elemental even though she was young. She had been powerful even then, he could see it when the traditional elders couldn't, and was growing stronger by the year. But his assumption, his hope of an ally, proved to be false. She turned on him after that first revenge mission, claiming that what they had done was reckless, destructive, and pointless. Malevolos left the worthless girl to the mercy of the dragon clan and left in search of more worthy allies.
Abilities: Malevolos possesses very powerful dark attacks. He can freeze an opponent by manipulating their own shadow, or even bring on absolute darkness. In this way he can blind an opponent, muffle all other senses, and even cripple his victim with despair. Also, he is possesses super human strength and speed while in his human form, and is very difficult to damage while he is a dragon. His scales are like armor. Finally, he has an affinity with ice as well as darkness, and can be a terror around significant bodies of water.
Key weakness: Light attacks weaken him very efficiently. During broad daylight, his control of darkness is feeble and there is almost nothing he can do to fend off a light attack. However, at night, he can block the weaker light sources and thus drain a light elemental. Also, his ability to fly rests upon the power of his great wings. Though very strong, he cannot control the wind currents and an individual who has mastered the wind element can give him quite a bit in trouble while in flight.
