You really don't need to freak out because that would never ever EVER happen anyways (I wouldn't allow it). *walks over* So please stop with the yelling.
Hmm...I need to ponder what sort of character to have. You know, I actually have an OLD character that would be perfect for this rp, but Aka and Pan might kill me for bringing him back....
Plus I reallys should start making female characters again...

ECK! *Clambers into the tree and rolls his eyes* Oh, how original...also, yes you should; you're like one of those weirdos who play girls in online games, even though they're guys/

*crosses arms* I blame Aka and Pan! They LITERALLY are the reason I play so many guys!
You see, when I first began story-based rping, I only had Aka and Pan to rp with me. Mind you, we were like 13 at this point. Both Aka and Pan didn't know how to play guys, nor did they feel comfortable playing guys. Since I didn't have a problem with it, and I apparently wasn't bad at it at all, I had to play pretty much ALL male characters to keep the rp in balance. (After all, it wouldn't be a very plausible world if 98% of the population is female. Can you imagine it?)
And usually, I noticed that most story-based rps have more girl characters than guys. (Like on DS, where I met Asila. There was only ONE guy, the admin, who played all the males, and clearly abused it with constant sex.)
So yes, I am very much in the habit of rping guys. I'm used. For me, it's really weird actually having guys to play guys. I can play either gender though, it's not a problem for me. (I want to be an author too, you know. And stories have to have about the same number of guys to girls.) I just rp genders to keep balance. But why do you think I stayed gender anonymous for so long? I didn't want to creep any newcomers out.

*Jumps out the tree and clings to Seven* You are now to me as Church is to Caboose.
Also, I feel uncomfortable playing girls...like, having to describe being annoyed because you were having a period even though I have no idea what they feel like...
Also, a world with all girls? *Eyes go misty* Yes, yes I could.... (Tiny voice inside his head is saying "Awwwww yeahhh...."

*blinks as is being clung to* Really? I am? I feel quite loved now. I mean... it's understandable that people like to rp their own genders--it's easier to rp what you know; it's your little niche. I just feel that a person is a person. Despite stereotypical gender roles, there is always going to be someone who will go against the norm. I just think of how a character's personality would develop due to their experiences and due to the society they live in.
I mean, you don't always have to go into nitty gritty details (like you said, describing having a period...) Maybe you should rp a girl main character in one of the stories. You might find it refreshing...or something...
Alright, maybe for a guy it would be fun to be in a world with all girls (I think there's an actual anime about that somewhere), but for 3 girls rping a world with all girls, it gets boring. It starts to feel like a 5 year old's game. Or like playing house. *shudder*

*Little voice is now saying " House? Damn, I play Doctor! OH!"* *Stares at Seven with a messed up smile* So, you're basically saying genders aren't a big difference? Well, I suppose boys have three extra parts and girls have two. I guess without those we're just...templates. Besides, I have no problem writing about a black person, in fact I intend to at some point in the second novel...Wabbajoo. Nah, I'd LOVE a world with all girls; no football, or rugby, or any other "manly" sports I despise. Then again...every RPG I ever played would be full of girls... TifxAer

((I always hated house...But then again, all the other little girls were especially mean, and I was very naive... I just never saw the point of wanting to play a game where the only difference between you and the character your playing is that your 20 years older, and pretending to be under a lot of stress...))
Nope, males and females are really not as different as people think. I mean, if a girl likes to play "manly" sports, she's just considered a tomboy, but it's not as though she's less of a girl. As I said before, the only thing you REALLY need to consider, is how OTHER things have affected their personality/character. Like, if you're in a sexist world, and you're playing a female who's been constantly been put down by her father, brothers, and other males, and all the other girls behave subservantly, the chances are that your character will ALSO act meek and subservantly.
But if your in the same world, where a girl is raised by very liberated parents who believe in gender equality, the girl might actually act more like a stereotypical boy (louder, more atheltic, likes math and science, etc), if only to prove the point her parents are fighting for. That and she would be braver in general, and more free to be herself, whatever that 'self' is. Even if as the story progresses, and her liberated parents are murdered for their point of view, she might still maintain her ideals engrained in her, and follow her parent's footsteps.
((sorry if I kind of rambled there, I thought it would be nice to provide an example...))
I'm sure you read a lot. Next time you're reading something, take note of the differences and similarities in girl and boy personalities. Try to note some of their overarching personality traits. Ponder whether or not the opposite gender could be in possesion of that trait. You'll find that they can. People are not so superficial and one-dimensional. Even when you have characters that seem to fit the stereotypical 'male' or 'female' perfectly. People become the way they are because of something. Even idiots, like chavs and preps and jocks, will usually become that way through emulation of an adult, or because of the need to be accepted by mainstream society. ((Rant is over.))
*Grins* Having a double standard now? You wouldn't like FF7 if they only had girls? Besides, a world full of girls doesn't necessarily mean that 'manly' sports would go away forever. There's something interesting I'd like you to know. I forget the name of the island, but there was one that remained very isolated from all other people around the world for many, many centuries. When it was 'discovered,' the outsiders found that the gender roles were swapped. Females were the animal-hunting providers, sport players, etc, and the men acted 'effeminately,' gossping and caring for children.
If there was a world of all females, gender roles would collapse, all women would become lesbians, and probably half of the women would remain 'effeminate,' and the other half would probably become 'masculine.'

Yes, but that's a man's stereotypical dream, isn't it? A room with large-breasted women, a camera, and a whole buncha condoms...*Sigh* Males can be so retarded. I'd much prefer a nice white room, where there was no night or day, one wall entirely occupied by a television screen, every conosle ever to exist and a computer...*drools*
Yes, I know girls can be EXTREMELY boyish... As a Nerd, I don't have to worry about being called anything. Also, my friend came up with a devilishly witty comeback for the "foureyes!" insult...
Well, this is certainly...enlightening. Well, anyway, the world could not work if it was inhabited by all of one gender; we'd die out. We could evolve, but that would take too long, so, neither gender works without the other...in fact, if you took away either, prehaps even the global economy would collapse. Wonder what would happen if humans died out? Well, that'd be a good thing...but, what if all plantlife was wiped out, we'd be screwed then. I know animals could become carnivores, but then they'd attack humans, everything'd go hostile...wow.
I often mention this in Geography, that the economy is like a Jenga; take one from the top, sure, it doesn't do much damage, but take one from the bottom...

Well, the 'all female world' is assuming that there is still a way to reproduce (some sort of very advanced artificial insemination), so that men are not required. It's also assuming that these women on an all women planet never met any men. Or that men just never existed. This is all hypothetical, of course, since in no situation would this ever be possible.
Still, if we took away plant life, food would NOT be the only main issue. Having oxygen to breathe would be. Plants inhale carbon and exhale oxygen (the opposite of us). Plant life is regulating the natural green house gases. If we destroy too much plant life, the polar caps will melt. There's so much that could go wrong with destroying plants. We'd never reach that stage where everything would become carnivorous. We'd die much sooner.
So, what was the comeback to the four eye's insult?

Well, I suppose...
Yes, I know that! I'm not an idiot!
Oh, the comeback was "Four Eyes are better than two."

I was just saying...You didn't need to get defensive.
Nice comeback. But people are just jerks to make fun of glasses anyways. Though lately, I see a lot of people who wear glasses, so not as many people can taunt others about it.
