Ok, here's how this works. On this thread, you can post random factoids to be incorporated into the world. after the post, I'll most likely accept it, or (on rare occasion) reject it with a reason why that can't be.
I'll start with the first one.
In Venera, horses are extremely rare, thus are not domesticated animals of burden. Instead, cats have been breed to be very large and have replaced horses (though there are still regular house-size cats). Just like with ordinary cats, there are different breeds that are rarer and more expensive (such as the white tigers), only used by rich, important people.
