"One Hundred Years Ago,
in the forest near the Village of Nurom,
lived a girl who played in the woods everyday.
An awful beast spied down upon the child,
and used her innocence against her.
Taking the form of a were-cat he,
fascinated her with his unique appearance
and played with her till she became his devotee,
And when the time was right,
he took her to the land of the East.
She was whisked up upon the winds,
and taken to the highest mountain.
In the East was a city of clouds and trees
that held her in awe and stopped and speech.
The fiend pointed a finger skewed
at the temple, so magnificent and blue.
Oh no--the girl should have stayed at home!
But what she did brought giants to their knees.
With an innocence more careless than the wind,
she opened the lock and took the rock
that seal her fate till the sky caves in.
By then it was far too late,
the monster took her and his bait
and whisked her to the Forest Mrue.
And in the silence of the forest
stood he and her alone.
They crystal was now nearly his.
But she would not bestow.
No, she would not have it--could not take it,
she split herself in two
and sealed half herself away.
A broken, weeping dove inside
a silver cage
is all he had now.
And tears were shed for many years,
but the sky will not cave in."

((Yes, I am NOT a song writer or poet and I wrote this 10 minutes before class. Furthermore, I don't know what music would even be like on this world. So don't complain at the terrible quality of the song and if you'd really like, you can PM for specifications of the old legend if you'd like to rewrite it.))
