I realize that I was rather vague about the type of character you should have for this role play. (Mostly since at the time, I wasn't sure what I was looking for, but now that's all cleared up.)
The characters invited should have some kind of secret power/double life, or such. They can be just strange, unexplainable abilities they were born with and can't explain, or practiced forgotten ancients arts. They can either be a loner in this matter, keeping it secret from the world, or a member of an underground secret (or occult) society.
No meda-gaming, but essentially your character has been found out by an eccentric billionaire who is hiring you to be his "mercenaries and retrivers." He doesn't really care where you came from, how you got here, what you did in your past, etc. In other words, you can be, as always, of questionable origins, badass, psycho, "evil," run of the mill nice guy, wanna-be hero, jsut wants to live normally, or anything in between.
Have fun making your character and background and don't feel limited. I'm hoping to rack in a wide group of character types. Just make sure they've got that "special something" (that a reclusive billionaire would want). Once again, no god-moding and/or overly perfect characters if you don't wish to be deleted.
