the room is dimly lit, dark reds and earthy tones. some how it feels like you've walked into satan's office. "welcome friends," he stands to greet them, " My apologizes for any discomfort youve expereinced during the day, but I had to make sure you were the correct people i had in mind. i would like you to know you were never in any real danger. and congratulations for passing both tests all by yourselves--"
"wait, both?" tallak asks suspiciously.
"yes, both. the 1st was a test of your power. the 2nd was just now while you were talking to each other. you formed trust and were ready to work as a team to defeat me if necessary. yes, i heard everything. but i already knew,' he grins widely, "and that is why i have gathered you today friends."

"Well....I don't need protection, as you can tell," the maid who's different from the others walks casually by, giving tallak a coy look. Rawling continues, "what i need......is a team of treasure hunters. And what you will be receiving, other than a very high salary.....is a special gift. Each individual for each unique team member." The maid walks by again, dropping a parchment of paper into everyone's hands, "I'd personally prefer if you didn't share them with each other. It is work ethic after all, to not discuss one's salary. and i loathe to deal with people feeling their end isn't fair when they liked the price to begin with...."
Zin's piece of paper lists a weekly salary and access to this crazy cool lab with all sorts of unreleased plants and dangerous things. a place reporters can't find her.
Aka's list a weekly salary too, but something else as well. he promises he can cure her allergy to sunlight--completely and beyond. she'd never have to wear an ounce of spf again. not even in her other world.

Zinnia opens in, reads it, and looks amazingly giddy. She actually bounces a bit.
Aka, on the other hand, reads it, and her jaw promptly drops. She looks up at Rawling in amazement, expression asking, 'Are you serious?'

You are free to roam anywhere you wish and you are under no circumstances not allowed to leave or visit whatever you desire. I will be giving you missions from time to time with advance warning. For now, relax, you've had a stressful day and you deserve to be pampered. Magerita, please show these fine people to whatever room suits them best."
She nods, smiling, hips swaying to some unheard beat as she leads them upstairs.

"Why do you need a west facing room?" Zinnia asks.
Aka holds up her gloved hands, pale fingers standing otu is sharp contrast againct the black fingerless gloves. "UV allergy. It's easiest if I don't have to wake up and apply spf before dawn."

"Have fun kids," she leads them to a hallway full of doors (rooms), "Pick on out and we'll bring your luggage up. Vinnie peeks into a room, "Oh MY GOD!!! Check this out guys!!!" The room inside is huge, a large apartment practically. i'm really tired right now, but imagine the pretty pretty, modernesque expensive with lots of luxurious crap.
