It depends on the girl and his feelings towards her. The thing is, Devon is secretly a bit of a heart-breaker. He seems to enjoy courting girls (even if they are not of his class), but in the end he never really gets attached to them. Especially since he's technically not allowed. There are some other things, like he hates girls that fawn over his looks or 'dreamy' persona, and he once had his heart broken as well. However, it's not like he couldn't fall in love again, if he met the right person. But how he'd behave is entirely situational.

Rojo stood up, grinning widely "Devon, you dog, you!" he said, supressing a fit of laughter. He patted Devon the back, shaking his head "never thought you had it in ya..."

Devon looks mock offended, crossing his arms and closing his eyes. But he can't help but grin a little, letting the supposed indignanty go, "What? Do I really appear that sweet and innocent. I'm afraid everyone is terribly mistaken."

Rojo laughed. "You do look innocent...I shall take that into consideration..."

He gets a cat-like smile, "Assumptions make the worse of us. So how did you take me then? A young Romeo who'd immediately become attached to the first fair maiden he laid eyes upon? Or just the shy type, to nervous to approach a young lady?"

"First one" he said immediatly, without hesitation.

He raises an eyebrow, "That was an awfully quick response. Care to share your insights on why you judged me that way?"

He shrugs, looking around "I dunno...I just sorta thought you to be one of those people who sweeps a girl off her feet, gathers her up in your arms, and stride through the streets, both of you bloodied and clothing ripped, from your valiant battle with the dragon." He said it as though he had rehersed it.

"Well that's exactly it!" he says, giving a quick swipe with his finger as if something were deducted. "That's what everyone thinks I'm like, and that's how I'd treat the lady of desire when I am with her. The only thing is...." he trails off, pausing. Then he smiles broadely, "I don't want to make a comittment!"

"So...you want the ball, you just don't want the chain?" he says, one eye narrowing as if he is trying to figure out a hard question.

He tsks, "That's such a crude way of putting it Rojo. The way I see it, a moment is beautiful, should be treasured and remembered. But no moment can ever be replicated....Besides, I feel much to young be roped into marriage yet. And if it were seen that I was pursuing someone...." he shudders, "it would only be decent for me to marry the girl... and that means more problems, if she's not of the 'correct class.' "

When Devon mentioned moments not being able to be replicated, he shook his head "Yes they can! Using a Imptographer." He holds up a small oval thing with a lens on the end. He turns a wheel on the side and a small coloured painting of Devon pops out a box at the top. Rojo takes this and hands it to Devon. "Where are we, anyways?"

Devon blinks as Rojo pulls this strange contracption out of now where. But he posed a good question. Devon looks around," we're at......." a background falls out of nowhere, followed promptly with an arrow sign. He reads with dot eyes, "The beach apparently."

"Wayo beach?" he says with hopeful and glimmering eyes.

"Um, sure' we'll go with that," he says, as another sign drops down from the sign saying "Wayo" next to the 'beach' sign.
