"Yes, sir?" The man doesn't lift his head, not becoming excited nor getting his hopes up.

"...You would make an interesting servant....[/i]"

"I would? And what, if I may be so bold, would being your eternal servant entail?"

"Oh, I don't know. Mostly obeying my commands. I might need a warrior to travel the mortal worlds on my behalf. And for you, you'd get a spot more freedom than just being eternally confined or damned."

"To be honest, sir, I don't find that the same as being free, but once again, my life is entirely in your hands. What goes is what you want."

That felt like an entirely vague answer to Daemon, so he decided to make the question short and simple. "So you'll do it?"

The man shrugs, getting to his feet and brushing off the dust. "I believe the more appropriate question is what do you want me to do. I haven't really much choice."

"Ok. If you phrase it that way, you're now my slave. Congratulations."

The man inclines his head. "Very well...what now, sir (or master if you so prefer)."

"Prince, actually," Daemon responds. The darkness around them condenses into a set of shackles around the man's wrists, ankles, and neck. They don't connect to one another though, like normal shackles would, but are the symbolic show of the man's enslavement. Those shadows will always be with him, and one wrong step, and who knows what might happen. "So....Welbert..." Daemon has decided to name his new slave, not bothering to ask for his real name. "You shall put down the other boy, and I shall send him back to the mortal realm. You, on the other hand, shall follow me."

"Welbert" nods and puts down the boy. He obediently steps forward, examining his wrist shackles with mild interest.

Daemon would lead 'Welbert' down a set of stairs with all other surroundings discernible.
Rojo is swallowed by the shadows and evicted from Hell. Except he is not quite left at peace. You see, Daemon left a mental 'note' in his head. Well, actually, it'd play more like a video clip once he woke up. The clip would show the arrogant Prince smiling casually, standing beside a shadowy throne. "My dear Rojo, for the mess you had gotten yourself into, a friend of yours is suffering eternal damnation. He chose to slaughter my minions in an attempt to save you, and he is now paying the price for it. I believe you will recognize this man." The shadow prince would hold up a picture of 'Welbert.' "If you are the hero you claim yourself to be, then you are indebted to this man who has sacrificed himself to an eternity of anguish for you. I would suggest you come save him if you have an morals. When you awaken, you shall find a rune in your pocket that will lead you back to the gates of Hell, if you wish to save him. Pleasant dreams!" he would end abruptly with sadistic charm, before the mind-video clip would blip out.

"Graahh....my head...hey look, something's coming on..." I watch the video with interest, then slowly pull the rune out of my pocket. "I have to...save him..." tears begin to shine in my eyes, and a bright light shines down... Then the light goes out and I burst out laughing. "Pfft! What a tosser! Me? Morales? Stupid prick." I walk off down a dark passageway leading me up, whistling and clicking my heels merrily.

Daemon chuckles, something that might seem mysterious to his new slave, but he was able to see that last glimpse of Rojo wakling away. Either way, to him it had been extremely amusing. Beings of the mortal world were quite corrupt and selfish. Oh well, he got to enjoy at least, right?
