Nef terns back and looks at the man, she speeks is a sarcastic and frustraed voice. "Oh shadows really scary, I'M FUCKING MARRIED TO THE PRINCE OF SHADOWES!" She then point at him and say in a low voice. "My girls and I have nothing to do with that son of bitch, that the strate." Ank and Usha both look at each other not knowing where this anger if come from. "i'm sorry if Daemon did something to you but that ass hole has fucked up my life!" She point back to Usha and Ank. "Thoes two are the only good thing that man has done." Nef now takes a step twored him glareing at him with her golden eyes. "So don't you dare threaten me or my children because we are both in the same boat here." She then throughs her hands up into the air. "I beat Daemon sents me here knowing that you would kill us! I wouldn't put it bast him."

((Like I said, tis ok. I had thought of passing my turn actually. By the way, at Nef's rate, Molly is going to try and maul her. -^_^- I can tell he must be pissed at Nef's attitude right now, and I've been wanting to say it since 4 posts ago.))
Saeria's blankly dazed expression went to the forest where Malevolos had disappeared into, and though she did not move or even twitch and eye, though this should have meant she was focusing on only one particular spot, she wasn't. In fact, it was more like she was looking at nothing at all...which was in a sense true. Silently she had retreated into thought, losing touch with almost all reality. Though such slumbering realities had been frequented even before her ordeals, they were more common now that she was dying. She might have willingly gone to death by now, had it not been for him. Perhaps because she always half wondered half thought that she might die young from illness... but He wanted her to live. But those moments when he left, against her better logic, just didn't seem so important anymore... And he was gone right now.
But her ears managed to awaken her when she heard Ellina's suggestion to Lief to speak of what they spoke. Though she remained silent, she listened as Lief began to speak.
Lief smiles calmly, speaking almost as if he is vaguely amused. "Well...it seems that is the Royal family of Prince Daemon...but she seems quite childlike. And arrogant. She is either very powerful and has no worries of Malevolos, or she is very foolish. It doesn't appear that anyone else is in this forest though, and since they were trying to leave, they probably didn't want to cause trouble. Though of course...it might always be the Prince himself in disguise," he added in his slight twist, speculating darkly of that possibility. "Malevolos, in any case, sounds quite enraged by the manner in which she disregards him."

((Oh joy. Here we go.))
Ellina was very concerned, at this point. She could hear fairly clearly everything Nef shouted, and Lief's description of the situation only confirmed her fear that this was going to end badly. She'd already glanced once at Saeria when Lief mentioned the possibility of one of the strangers being Daemon before looking back at Lief with a displeased scowl. Now, as he finished she glanced back at her friend once again. Then, with her thoughts reaching their conclusion, she looked back at the forest with a set expression. "I can imagine," she said in answer to Lief, but she already sounded distracted. The trees in Malevolos' vicinity were growing paler...
She stared for a moment or two, as though not trusting her eyes, and then she sprang to her feet and sprinted in that direction.
Malevolos heard only the bite in Nef's words, not the emotions that had inspired them as she must have intended. It sounded to him precisely as though she were trying to undermine him, to scold him as an ill-tempered neighborhood parent may scold a child who had said something mean to her children. Her very tone was a viscous blow to his already wounded pride.
Whatever he may be, he deserved more respect than he had so far been given, and he would no longer let these offenses slide. He bared pointed teeth at her in a silent snarl. If shadows didn't bother her...well, there were plenty of other options. The air around them chilled rapidly, frosting the surrounding trees and drawing all color from the scene as their surroundings iced over.
"There are so many ways to make you suffer as I have suffered," He said with hatred coloring the words, "If shadows are indeed the least of your worries, than it is rightly so." As he spoke, ice condensed rapidly in the treetops above, spearing in long pikes to bury themselves like prison bars in a wide circle surrounding Nef, the girls, and even himself. And as they sliced into the ground with a heavy, deadly sound, smaller icicles cascaded downward in a column with Usha at their center.
But the miniature, glittering spears poured over her as water. Malevolos sent a sharp, hateful look toward Ellina as she came to a halt just inside of the gap she'd melted through the ice. Her breathing was a bit harsh with exertion, but she stared back at him with a stubborn expression.
((And now everyone gets reaction time, because I'm out of time. I'll add more when I get back if no one has responded, but if anyone wants to respond, go ahead. I can add the dialogue after.))

((Sorry Pan, I'm taking my posting order back! *laughs triumphantly* In any case, it should be short...))
Lief's eyes don't miss Ellina's flight, and as she takes off, he springs from his knees to go after her. But he jolts to a halt when Saeria suddenly cries out. "Wait!" the loudness of her call is almost surprising from the now mostly silent girl. Lief looks back to her and Evening now. Saeria is now standing, taking a feeble step forward. "Let me come with," before he can protest, she continues. "I don't want to be left behind...and more so, as you said, there could be others," she uses his words against his desires. But even then he knew if he left Saeria behind, Malevolos would be furious, even if nothing happened.
And so, Lief nods approaching Saeria. "Please allow me to carry you then, since we are in haste." She nods, and then he looks to Evening. "If you wish to come, that is fine. If not, seek protection inside. You should remain undisturbed there." In silence, Lief lowers himself to the floor and shifts into the silver fox he truly is. An unusually large fox though, but he had made that modification for the purposes of being a mount. At his low position, Saeria is easily able to climb on and hangs on tightly as he joins Ellina and the others.
They would arrive moments after Ellina melted the ice Malevolos had meant for these intruders, but watching the staring between the two, it is only moments before both understand a bit of what Ellina went to do. While Saeria is still fixated on Malevolos and Ellina, Lief looks over to the three trespassers, and almost instantaneously uses his nine tails to shield the girl on his back from anything, should anyone try something.

((I decided to add the rest as a separate post. Sorry this is long...))
Evening would remain in place after everyone left, uncertain. She did want to take cover, but she didn't want to abandon her friends either. So she just waited, able to bolt to cover should something happen but still aware of what was happening to her friends. If they would need her, she would know. But what she would do if they needed her...well, that wasn't nearly as clear.
The white light blazing in Ellina's eyes would have faded enough to allow the shadow of her normally dark irises to show through by the time Lief and Saeria arrive. She couldn't acknowledge them, though, because she realized that she was in a great deal of trouble with Malevolos and she knew better than to turn away from him, even if it was only to look away for a second. Even now, he was staring at her as though he were imagining all the brutal ways he could slay her. He took a step forward, ice condensing around his hand as he began to reach for her until his fingers more closely resembled daggers. She took a hasty step back. She could tell by the fuzziness of her mind and the sudden tiredness of her limbs that she'd used all of the energy that her mortal body had to spare when she'd stopped him from killing that girl. She didn't want to have to waste any more.
"You interrupted," He informed her, the words burning with rage. He watched the girl smile apologetically and hold up her hands in implied surrender. His eyes narrowed.
She tried to reason with him. "Look, I know we're not friends, Malevolos. But Saeria and I are. I would do anything to help her, even if I have to interrupt you to do it." She looked toward Nef and the girls. "Don't you understand that if you kill one, you may as well kill them all?" She didn't know much about Nef, but what she did know gave her cause to believe that any harm caused to her children could result in an attack against Malevolos. And if both she and her daughter fought back, he just may kill them both. And she simply couldn't allow that to happen.
That, and killing people was wrong.

Nef would have taken a fighting stance to protect her self and the girls from the ice, but now it was gone and a complet stranger had just saved her life. Nef eyes scan the sean befor her, she dare not speek a word to interrupt the two.
She terns her head to look behind her taking this opertunity to speek to her girls. Nef say to them, not in a language of the damed but one that every one would here wather she like it or not. Its a claming sound, not one of anger and hatred, but one that soothes the soul and warms the heart . The tone in her voice is higher and calm as she speek; her in not speeking the language of the devil bot that of the angels.
Usha and ank both nodes thier head after Nef is done talking. Usha quickly picks up her younger sister and jumps strate up into the air and far away from Malevolos and the others. They land rather closely to Evening to get away from any battle that might start.
Nef then terns her attention back to the group and sences that something is wrong; she can feel it in her vary soul. Nef eyes scan the strang to find out what is gives her this horred feeling, and then she spots her on the back of Lief. "My god what has he done to you..." She as runs over to Lief and Saeria forgetting about the fight she almost got into and going to do what she has been tranded for in Heaven. This does not look good for Malevolos this women who is married to Daemon is heading to Saeria, what could she be up to.

Lief does not like the look of of Nef as she runs towards him, and his tails lurch forward in an offense stance as she continues approaches, warning from doing anything foolish. She was in his care right now, and he would not have anyone offending them. Yet, he was also distracted, for Malevolos was threatening his own, not even realizing Lief had his mounted on his back. Well! had been crueler, he could have used the frail girl as hostage...but he knew he would do no such thing. And so thus, his eyes fluttered back and forth anxiously between Ellina and the approaching Nef, trying to be ready in both scenarios.
Saeria too noticed the dilemma, but she was almost curious about Nef. She could feel Lief ready to spring, in what direction she was not sure, but she learned forward and whispered to Lief softly, "Wait... And surprisingly, he did.

Ellina focused fixedly on Malevolos when Nef began to speak the language of angels. Feeling relaxed was going against her survival instinct, which told her to stay focused. Not that it was all that hard to fight the warmth that flowed through her when Malevolos only seemed more agitated by the sound. Then angrier yet when the two girls fled. Then more furious still when Nef approached Saeria, who he only just noticed on Lief's back. Before, he had been unable to see her through his rage, since she wasn't an object of it. Had he been able to tense anymore, he would have tensed visibly. Instead, his eyes could only flash with the unspeakable rage that had been ignited by deeper panic, and he began to prowl silently toward Nef with murderous intent.
Ellina now looked as cornered as she felt. Her body was determined to shrink back even as her will determined to hold fast, and the resulting battle between the two desires flickered as uncertainty upon her expression. In her head, she was cursing passionately and loudly. Why did that woman have to go near Saeria? Didn't she understand the kind of danger they were all in?
She stepped forward, deciding to try and distract Malevolos even though she knew perfectly well that the motion was nothing but a desperate, last-ditch attempt at soothing the situation. "Please, wait!" She called out to him, but his eyes were riveted on Nef and he didn't seem to hear. He was now so close to her that every instinct she had was shrieking "Run! NOW! You're life is in danger! You're going to die!" but she couldn't move. Her feet had been caught up in the ice that flowed outward from Malevolos in ever-widening circles as he drew closer. Immediately, she crouched, hoping to remain low and unscathed as he passed. But she didn't know what to do about Nef, or how to stop him without having to try and fight him in a full-blown battle. The situation was beyond her control.
Malevolos could only feel as cold as the ice that condensed around him, unable to think of anything except destroying the threat he believed Nef to be to Saeria.
As for Evening, well, she was badly startled by the sudden arrival of Usha and Ank. She backed away, snarling a warning, but she couldn't stop her gaze from returning to the iced trees and the heightened tension she felt growing in that direction. As could be expected of her trio of demon stalkers, their excitement had only continued to grow and the rattled the surrounding tree branches as their movements became more rapid. Their eyes, glowing brighter, would be visible through the leaves.

Nef stops dead in her teack as she hears Malevolos approching her. she terns face him and mutters. "Lord give me strangth." As she raises her hands to the sky and closes her eyes. A white fire comes around her whole body as she opens them again looking at Malevolos. "I am born of the fire your Ica can not hurt me." she say in a calm voice. But she does not attack him nor does she back down, insted she braces herself for what to come. Her eyes glance back to Saeria as she skeep out loud so that Malevolos can hure her. "So that how Daemon has wrong you is it?" She ask looking back to him as he comes close. "I know how you feel..."
usha and Ank don't bother looking at Evening as then gasp. "MOM!" Usha shreeks watching Malevolos aproching her. Ank on the other terns and looks at Evening and say in a calm voice. "We are not here to hurt you, our father is trying to get us killed he hates us, and if we die he wins." She terns her whole body to face Evening now. "Please you have to help us, if you do i may know a way to save you frome a fate far worse then death." She say as her eyes pears into Evening vary soul.

Saeria and Lief look to Nef, suddenly feeling vaguely entranced due to her angelic power, but both managed to snap out of it, surprisingly Saeria faster than Lief. It was mainly due to what Nef had said about her. As Nef spoke, her immediate reaction was to look to Malevolos. She could only wonder what this white, heavenly fire, everything that stood in opposition to him, would do.

Malevolos paused, staring at Nef with little change of expression. Until a fierce smile curled across his teeth and his eyes began to flicker in a strange way, the red suddenly interrupted by the scathing orange of fire. Slender horns rose from beneath the skin at the base of his hairline, tilting back on his head, and great wings tore through the light fabric of his shirt, folding behind him. The angelic display had only called to the demon in him.
The ice suddenly evaporated, coiling skyward in columns that suddenly seemed ghostly as everything around them grew dark. The trees, burning from within, glowed red-orange. The air around them would seem unbearably hot when only moments ago it had been cold. Malevolos stared at Nef as he spoke, taunting and challenging her. "Then we'll see what's stronger. The fire of the pure or that of the corrupted." And, with only the slightest tilt of his head, the surrounding fire would converge on Nef.
At first Ellina just waited silently, looking away from the light out of long habit. She was too used to having intense light blind her painfully to look into it now. But when the ice melted around her, she crept toward Lief and Saeria and dropped to her knees beside them. Shielding her eyes, she tried to keep on eye on what was happening, but she couldn't see very clearly at all. "I don't know what to do," She whispered to Lief as a sort of heads up before she lowered her gaze to the ground and tried to keep her thoughts from evaporating like the ice in the heat. She felt so warm that she was beginning to feel cold...
Once again, Evening ducked into her nightgown and shifted back into a human so that she could talk to Ank. She was feeling too anxious over the battle in the trees to worry much about these two any longer. It now looked as though the trees were on fire. "I don't know how to help you! I can't win against him," She exclaimed, implying Malevolos. Her voice became lower with horror. "And if I try, no one will be able to save me. I'm only here still because this is some kind of game to him, and it's only a matter of time before I lose." She looked away abruptly, unhappy that she'd said so much. But if Ank could read her thoughts, she would know of the demon prince Xanthe and his promise to take Evening back to hell with him if she ever tried to summon a demon. And any attempt at controlling Malevolos as he was now could very well be close enough.

Nef birng her arms up to proteck her face as the fire covers her body. "Two can plat at this game." She say and her missed macked wing burst out of her back. Her once red devil like skin terns a dark tan and her hair growe longer. She taks flight into the air. "We both know how this will end Malevolos, Darkness can not deffet the light." She say in a voice strong voice. She makes two ball of pure light in her hands and throught them back at Malevolos.
Ank looks at Evening and sigh. "Grate now what to do-" She stop a thought going through her head. Her ice blue eyes britening as she terns back to Evening. "You wonderful werewolf you! you just gave me the help I needed!" Ank terns to Usha and says in a fast yet calm voice. "Usha take Evening out of here I don't want her to be standing nare me." Usha looks confused at her little sister. "why?" Ank snaps at her. "Just do it!" Usha nodes her head and runs over to Evening picking her up. "Hold on I'm not going to hurt you." she say as she jummps back into the aire and out of ear shot of Ank.
Ank watches to make shour that Usha has taken her far away. She then terns back to the fight and takes a deep breath. She streches out her hand as both of her eyes being to glow. Shadows from the ground being to swirl and dance around her. She opens her mouth and skeep the language of the Devild. Knowing now that Malevolos is a demon and she is a devil she uses this to help her, because demons have to lison to devils. She orders him to stop this attack at once.

Saeria slipped down off Lief's back as the ice melted and the heat rose, crouching beside Ellina. She figured she should unencumber Lief, should he have to do something quickly. And Lief, in his part, decided to remain as an over-sized fox to best protect them, rather than shift back into a human. Lief looked down at Ellina almost knowingly. "I don't believe there is much we can do. Malevolos has become...that way," he says, indicating the demonic creature. "If you were threatened once, there might be no halting him in this mindset. And even if he is wrong about these people...he has made them our enemies. And if it comes down to it, we will have to help him, not them," he ends, eyes quietly glancing at Saeria. Only to notice the girl had silently stalked away from there huddle of safety.
Instead, face turned away from the two, Saeria had stepped a bit closer to her love, consciously holding back a slightly demented smile and failing horribly at it. Demented because of how fascinated she suddenly seemed. And while it is true she found him quite darkly handsome in that state most would consider either freakish or frightening, she had other reasons to feel so strangely happy right now. For one, it was nostalgic--she always seemed to associate that form with the first time he had held her...even if that had ended badly, due to Daemon.
All the rises in temperature warmed her constantly frigid body, and she couldn't help but for a moment bask. Malevolos so frequently associated fire with evil--his darker side as well--that is was such a rare opportunity to feel him much warmer than herself. More than anything though, he seemed to radiate energy, vitality, life itself. How the months had dragged on in silent sorrows, how frustrated he had been every waking hour. She thought that life was being sucked from him, not her, seeing so often his eyes distant and hollow. Just to see him grin with all of his dark charisma felt revatilizing. To see him smile, even in villainy, somehow inspired hope and happiness. His strength seemed to become hers, since she seemed to no longer remembered her illness in the slightest.
If thoughts of Nef's trials, her pain, were all but forgotten now, it would be be hard to blame the girl. Sick as she was, she was rarely all there to begin with. If she was smiling twistedly, it could only be because she could see him as the brave knight fighting vigorously for her. She, of course, never feared, even in this form, so sinister it could rival sadism. And by now, she had all but had forgotten the reason why he would transform at all.
Until, that is, Nef made a fire to rival his. Then she remembered. Then she was horrified that he might wind up hurt. She would have gone all the faster to him, but Lief quickly bounded towards her, forcing her from the line of fire, bringing her back to Ellina in the spot they had originally been in. Even then, she remained unmoved in her frightened expression.

Ellina nods in somber agreement with Lief, but says nothing. The heat is really beginning to make her miserable, and as yet another wave of intolerable warmth rolls across her body she begins to wonder if she can harness this excess warmth, somehow. She had to figure something out, and fast. In a quick experiment, she concentrates all the warmth that was plaguing her into the palm of her hand. A golden flame immediately leaps to life. Ellina lets it fade, but as she watches Saeria and Malevolos, she contemplates risking a grander experiment...
Malevolos glanced toward Saeria as she came closer. He held out one hand to warn her back, but he could not speak. In his mind there was too much conflict to allow for words; the desire to destroy, the desperation to save her, the hatred that burned so violently within, the love that he could not allow to die. And then, on top of it all, was this new opponent sent by an old threat. He had to prove to this half-angel that 'light' had nothing on evil. It was a passion that rose up in him without word or reason, something that he simply had to make her understand just as he had learned to. It was both the desire that he relished and the release he desperately wanted. With the demon calling for blood within him, it was impossible to remember anything else. The man Saeria was most familiar with was powerless against such destructive fury.
So his attention returned quickly to Nef, the long fingers of his hands flexing into rigid claws as blood red flame weaved in a playful dance between the digits. The fire surrounding them leaped from smoldering embers to twisting flame, snapping challenge. His fire would consume her light. In this he trusted.
But it was not to be. A voice interjected, influencing the angry demon and coercing it into giving up the fight. He fought, but fighting it was agony. He crushed his hands over his ears so violently that it would look as though he intended to crush his skull in order to rid his mind of the voice. A broken roar of outrage and struggle tore from his throat as he fought for control, but he just wasn't regaining it fast enough. It looked as though he wouldn't be able to stop Nef's attack.
The white spheres of light would smash into him, obscuring his form in the bright glow that pored over his crouched form. For a second that ticked by in a slow eternity, it would be impossible to decipher what had happened to the compromised villain.
((This is a pause for dramatic effect. A cliff-hanger, if you will. *smiles evilly at Seven*))

Nef stares awestruck at Malevolos right before the her attacks hit him. She looks around to see who is doing this to him; her eyes fall apone Ank as she strea at the shadowes that dance around her. Nef not shoure what to do now, yelly at Ank to stop, or take this opportunity to try and keep the demon down. Nef bring her hands back to send another attack that would hold Malevolos to the ground but she spot Saeria out of the corrner of her eye. The human she sences that was dieing because of Daemon, looking at the demon in a strage way. Nef cocked her head to the side to try and figer it out when it hit her. "Oh... My... God, she loves him...." Nef bring a hand up to her mouth and bit her nuckle. " Fuck that why he attacked me, I was getting to close to his lover." Nef then slaps her fore head. "Stuped Nef!"
Ank watches as the balls of light hit Malevolos, but the language od the damned is geting to be to much for her. she has a feeling if she keeps this up her true voice will come out. Ank drops her hands and she shadowes fade. She can only hope now that she helped her mother in away.
