Aka picks him up. "You can sleep in our room. The door's thicker." She starts out of the kitchen and down the hallway to Tall and her's room.

She sets him up in their bed, and smiles. "Better?" she asks softly. With the door closed, it's much quieter than his room had been.

She reaches the kitchen, then grabs the bowl of chopped fruit. She chucks a tiny piece of fruit at him.
