He's feeling positively awake at this point, so he bounces out of bed, landing beside (not on top of) Aka on the floor, and shakes her in a gentle, playful manner. "Come on Aka, we have to get up! We're going to go free Kellen's sister today, remember?" And why shouldn't Tall be happy? Illyeana was assumingly going to be freed, Darad was going to have his girlfriend, and Aka her first best friend back (along with the loss of Aka's guilt.)
