Leanon hisses, withdrawing. The slices goes straight through her midsection, but, thanks to dream logic, she still manages a verbal jab. "Nice guard dog, Julin Formons. Guess you needed one to replace my brother."
"I don't know what you're talking about!" Aka insists, rising to move behind Tall.
"Wonderful attempt at innocence," Diratan hisses as he returns to his fluid, four-legged form. "But you can't fool us..." He lashes out with one paw, but doesn't even attempt to make contact.

Tall keeps an eerie silence about him, feelings of overwhelming courage flowing through him. He brandishes his light sword, but unlike Diratan, his objective is to make contact---and as hard as possible.

Diratan yelps as the blade catches his shoulder, prompting a snarl from Leanon. "Don't touch him!" She leaps at Tall, completely ignoring the threat of the light as she dives, hands mimicking claws as she tries to inflict as much damage as possible.

Tall smirks, holding the sword perpendicular to her path of motion. It is a little silly to jump right at a pointy object. Even so, the claws still extend past the sword, getting a deep hold on his flesh.

Even through the long blade of light now extending through her stomach and out her back, Leanon continues the scratch at him. Aka moves out from behind Tall to try to pry her off, but is intercepted by Diratan. He dives at her, and the pair roll, Aka blocking as much as possible as his claws rake at her even as Leanon does the same to Tall.

Tall shuts his eyes, expecting to feel the throbbing pain of several deep scratches. But instead, there is no sensation. He opes his eyes once more--Leanon is still scratching furiously at him, but he doesn't feel a thing. "This...is a dream?" he mumbles inaudibly to himself. The sudden realization allows him to become lucid again. Tall kicks Leanon in the gut just below the sword entrance, pulling the sword out with a heavy heave. He turns away from Leanon, disappearing suddenly and reemerging beside Aka and Diratan, smacking Diratan and pulling him off of her as well. 'This is just a nightmare...just a nightmare...' he continues to think, so not to fall out of lucidity again. Tall lets the sword vanish, but holds out his hands again, this time creating two separate cages of light around Diratan and Leanon. That should hold them--this was only a dream after all. And yet, a small nagging voice in the back of his head said in a little, worried voice, 'Perhaps Tall, you're not the only one visiting Aka's dream tonight...'

Aka rises, clinging to Tall. Diratan hisses, but Leanon only smirks. "Clever, dream-weaver... Such skill is rare..." She places her hands against the light. After a few seconds, they pass though unharmed. "But not unheard of."
She takes a step toward them, closely followed by Diratan, who has likewise escaped his cage. "Why are you doing this?" Aka asks quietly.
"You know why..."

Just as he suspected, they aren't just nightmares. Tall narrows his eyes. "No, we don't know why. Tell us." He begins to hold Aka. He is equal to them in this terrain. Both them and he realize this is nothing but a dream. Only Aka is in true danger.

As her smirk widens, she replies, "She knows..." nodding at Aka.
Diratan laughs loudly, flickering into his humanoid shape. "Well, she should..."
"I don't!" Aka pleads, holding harder onto Tall.
"Liar, liar, Julin Formons," Leanon replies. "But you put on quite the convincing act..."

"I don't care if she knows, I want you to tell me." He was growing impatient, and he wouldn't, couldn't really believe them anyways.

"She broke the cardinal rule," Leanon replies, smiling at Aka.
Diratan chuckles. "Didn't you, Julin Formons?"
"Even if she is the wrong one, she still must be punished."

"What's the 'cardinal' rule? And who is Julin Formons--and don't answer me by pointing to Aka and saying 'her.'"

"Outsiders..." Leanon hisses. "Julin Formons brought in... an outsider...."

"An outsider? To the Dark Realm?" He pauses. "Me?"

"More or less.." Leanon replies. "You or your predescesor, either way, she must be punished."
Aka pulls away. "I haven't done anything!"
"Wrong, Julin Formons, you've done all the wrong in the world..."
