Darad looks expectantly back at Aka, who holds out her empty hands. He grumbles slightly and heads out the door, saying, ove rhis shoulder, "I'm going out to the orchard."
Aka shakes her head and replies, "If you eat them all now, you won't have any for the rest of the summer."

Tall can't help but giggle again at Darad's frustrated look. When he finally leaves, Tall leans back on the wall. He couldn't help but wonder if things were going to get awkward between the two again. The inner engineer was coming out in him, as he logically tried to analyize the situation. For what reason would Aka come down here. He tended to become a little calculating when he was a bit nervous. "So Aka..." he begins, to see if she'd state her business, or if she had come down only to check on him, or visit him....

"So..." she replies nonchalantly. She leans against the table and picks up the diamond, tossing it lighty up and catching it. The diamond itself seems to glow brighter at her touch, as though straining to return to her. She continues tossing it up and down, looking at Tall. "What, exactly, are we going to do with this?"

Tallak watches it go up and down much like a cat would, distracted by a ball. He snaps out of it when Aka asks him what his plan was anyways. "Oh right--that might be a good thing to share..."
He thiks for a moment, standing back up straight. "Well, as you know my body is in paralyzed in comatose right now inside the Sanctuary, due to Rhinoa's curse, which seems to be a strange spinoff of dark magic. While I was "Rawling," we collected various artifacts that I thought could dispel dark magic with my own element, light, and elements that work hand in hand with light, by creating a magical field. But as Eugene pointed, your dark magic could easily overpower Rhinoa's rendition of it, and rest of the artifacts would finally have enough strength to break the spell.
So pretty much, I need to sneak in, go to my body, and set up a magical field."

"Er--What?" he abruptly flushes a bit, before he suddenly catches her drift, feeling very stupid. "Right, right--hahhaa..." he laughs nervously. "Silly me...security...." his voice fades out a bit. "Well, this may sound too convenient, but the acutally room it's in is completely vacant. It's because the curse requires special precaustions...they had to ensure the room was maintained as pure as possible at all times, removed of the negative energies people carry with them, so only certain high ranked followers are allowed in on a daily basis in the morning light after a daily purification ritual. No one is allowed in at night.
The room is the center the branches off into six hallways, that spider out into other branches. Any and all guards will be outside the doorways of the hallways that lead to the room, which means if we can sneak into a hallway, we'll be home free."

"Yes, but I am already accustomed to traveling through them, as I've been making the commute for 5 years now. It shouldn't matter that I'm possessing a form. Since they're magical, I know how to pass through them without causing a ruckus."

"What about me?" she asks. "I mean, no offense or anything, but I'm not telling you how to unlock my powers from the gem. So I'm going to have to get in, too."

He blinks, not realizing that Aka had wanted to come with. But then again, it made sense. Of course she just wouldn't have handed over a gem containing all of her magic and wish him well--not after he already tried to make off in such a way. She probably still harbored suspicions against him, fears that he might just take off and not come back, leaving her permanently helpess, as Darad had put it.
He nods, not bothering to say he originally intended to go alone, or despute the dangers of going in with him. He knew Aka would be stuborn, and trying to fight her to be left alone with her magic would only create further doubts about him.
"None taken. I should be able to slip you...and anyone else who might decide to tag along, through the barrier as well."

He pauses again, not sure if it's too soon to ask. what harm could come from trying though? "Perhaps we should go...tonight?" he asks, hoping to confirm. But the sooner, the better. Aka would have her magic back and he would hopefully be.....he would be human again. For the first time, the magnitude of the thought struck him. After FIVE long and miserable years, he'd finally have the chance to be human again. But what would happen from there? Would his soul piece it's self back together again, or was he doomed to live in the instability of being only half complete?
And Aka...? Had helping him just been a plight of sympathy she had for him, a conclusion to this turmoulous saga? Would she request not to see him again, after it was all done and through?
