She leans in, but before he can tell her off for trying that trick again, she whispers, "You talk too much." She kisses him gently, and then dives below the water.

He leans back slightly, even though she's already gone. He blushes profusely again--but alas, this time it isn't just because Aka kissed him. the moment she leaned in it some how felt like a freeze frame from an artisic movie, where everything goes silent for a moment and nothing else is moving. The sounds of a heart beat echo in his mind, and suddenly, without warning, he remembers what he said the previous night.
It's the mix of all things that make him bright red and he quickly dives into the water if only to be out of sight. The back of his mind remembers the murals of ancient ceremonies--the unending dance between prince and princess...

She resurfaces a good distance away and floats on her back, either not acknowledging him or pretending not to.

surprise kisses.
they really shouldn't fluster him so.
after all, when you think about it, it's a very trival motion.
Anyone could kiss anyone simply.
But even thinking this way didn't help him out. Despite what he tried to convince himself, he knew the signifigance, and he was the type to take it to heart. But even so...since they both liked each other, what was the problem? Why, it would even be approved of (technically at least).
Oh, right.
That was the problem.
And aka didn't deserve to be cheated like that....
or lied to.
or hurt.
Which seems to be the only think Tall is good for--whether or not she realized it.
He couldn't help but to start gazing at her again, slightly sad eyes. 'Stupid Tall!' he chastised himself.

SHe simply continues floating, purple-black robes floating out around her, ignoring him.... Or waiting...

Well....Tall knew he couldn't just float there forever. Tall was always so careful to stay perfectly diplomatic and out of the way--but Aka was trying to force him to take action of some sort, any sort. So there was really no point in avoiding it.
The only problem is, he had no idea anymore of what to say.
Well--he'd just have to wing it. Tall dives beneath the water and swims over to her.

he finally resurfaces about 3 and a half feet away from her, not entirely sure what to do. all he can manage is a little smile, "You know that's an awfully crude tactic for trying to get information--but I don't think seduction is going to entirely work..." he says quietly, trying to joke again. Anything to ease the inevitable awkwardness that she's created by kissing him, and that he's made worse by not following up.
