Through her hazy state, she could hear someone approach and settle down beside her. "I don't have any blankets," she could hear him murmur very softly, as though he was both asking for permission and yet unsure if she was asleep and meaning not to wake her. Shortly after, warmth ensconced her, holding her tightly as she had been during the momentary times she'd been teleported.

When the warmth hit her body she very quickly moved as close as she could to it. Her teeth where still chattering and for a few moment she was still shivering but soon she calmed down and slipped back into normal slumber. She felt warm and safe and it was the best feeling in the world at that very moment.

Mikaki stayed put as she moved closer to him, willing himself not to freeze up from the oddity of it all. He didn't. He tried to hold true to his desire to catch his rare wink, but after everything, and now this, he really couldn't. At least not very well. He dozed in and out, waking and dreaming both of the vast, cold desert so it was difficult to distinguish when exactly he nodded off and when he woke, and for how long each period was. It was amazing how overwhelmed he had become in so short a period. His mind was still reeling. And yet he must have been more tired than he thought, for the next time he looked out, the sun was bright overhead, and he did not at all recall any point in which he saw or dreamt of it rising. Cautiously, he looked over at Kealya.

She was awake and from what he could tell she had been for a while. Kealya couldn't get away from him while he was sleeping, she tried but nothing worked. She had spent the better part of the past few hours drawing in the sand with her fingers. Evey time she got bored she would wipe away the doodle and make a knew one. When she felt movement she didn't bother to look at Mikaki and just kept drawing. "Good morning. You weren't kidding when you said that you where tired."

"My apologies," he murmured, realizing the sort of error he had made, and was left feeling embarrassed. Obviously, she had been awake for some time now. He was surprised she wasn't left numb for being held for so long. He was grateful he didn't have fitful dreams and crushed her in his sleep. Slowly, he retracted his arms, untangling them from around her, though he really didn't move the rest of his body yet. He still felt sluggish for lack of a better term.

Kealya sat right up at this giving a big stretch while she wasn't in to much pain her arms had been stuck in the smae spot for most of the night. She then looked at him with a small smile. "It's okay and thank you for last night... I should have know better then to ask to stay here. I know how cold the desert gets at night."

"I forgot likewise," he said, trying to shoulder some of the blame. "How not all can tolerate such an unforgiving climate."

She nodes and look to the sky placing her hand over her eyes to shield it from the sun. "And you happened to wake up during the hottest point of the day." The place that Kealya had picked out was meant for this, a large peace of rock hung over them giving them some shade. She then looks back down to Mikaki. "Are you ready? I am still willing to talk to Isis for you."

"Yes, thank you. Please speak to Isis on my behalf.... But today, I will only be dropping you off. Let's just say... I would like to prepare." At least, he had risen to stand.

She nodes getting to her feet as well. "Right that sounds like a good idea. I do need to be getting back Isis might have a fit if I'm not there to do my job right now."

He nods, holding out his hand so he could take her. But as he did, he asked, "Why didn't you just wake me?"

She takes his hand but at the question her cheeks suddenly turned a lovely shade of pink. "Well... Because it felt nice being held by another person. I felt safe not to mention warm, until the sun came up, but it still felt... Nice..."

As he wasn't expecting that sort of answer, he sort of jolted, unconsciously letting one foot fall back as he seemed to blush without actually blushing. "Oh," he returned. "Well, let's get you home."

At this she looked to the ground now feeling how uncomfortable he felt from her comment. "...Sorry." She said softly the pink in her face becoming brighter then before.

It was also uncomfortable that he was acting like a skittish schoolgirl. Good grief! He tried to get a hold of himself, straightening back up. "Come. It's time to go," he said in his usual tone.
