Kealya look at him her dog ear twitch a bit not quite sure what to say. should she tell him what she found? No that would be folish. But something in side of Kealya tell her to let Mikaki go. "Its nothing just here to put another spell on the door." She goes to write another one and Mikaki can planly hear her hand slide over a few smudging them.

He listened carefully for the insignia of the new rune, knowing what counter-rune he'd have to put up. The ones she smudged...it wouldn't matter. It just meant those particular runes wouldn't activate.

Kealya places a hand on the handel of the door. Unknowing to her what is about to happen. She unlockes the door with the key and opens it.

Mikaki's eyes widen---he was NOT expecting that. "No--don't!!!" he shouted frantically as she opened the door. But it was too late. All the ruins he had so busily drawn activated, ready to murder the high priestess where she stood. But Mikaki, for some reason beyond him, suddenly lept forward, pouncing upon her and shielding her with his body.
He knew he could handle the pain of his own spells. The runes lashed against his back as he held the little priestess tightly to protect her. The runes continued their onslaught for a few minutes, before disappating.

Kealya doesn't scream nore does she move. She was not expecting this at all. Well giveen she thought he might kill her but not protect her. That was the last thing she thought would happen. "Mi-mikaki?" she mutter a few secodn later. She doesn't know wearther to screm and smack him, or help him as he just did to her. But on the other hand she knew in the back of her mind thaat spell was most likely ment for her. "Why?" Is the onlyt other thing she can say.

He groaned slightly, now that the onslaught of his own spells ended, and he rolled off of her. It caused him to wince, in the end, since his back was the most damaged area. "If it's all right with you, can we possibly save the interrogations till I'm feeling slightly more conscious?" His vision was dizzy. He was strong, yes....but the onslaught had been magic from him, of his own strength. "I'm not feeling to well...." he commented in an almost child-like nature with an odd smile...and then passed out.

Kealya stares at him, she slowly stand up looking down at him. She shakes her head. "Why am I going to do this...." She sigh leaning back down to him and placeing her hand on his chest. Kealya does not know how to heal like an angel does, she just gives him energy from her. Its not much but it will help him relive the pain.

Almost instantly, his eyes open again, though he still looks dazed. He groans once more, a hand coming to his temple as he sits back up. Why the hell did he do that? He blinks, and it suddenly occurs to him that he is outside all the wards and magic spells that once contained him. He could run!

He pauses again, then quirks a strange grin. "Because if I hadn't saved you, I would have never learned the reason why the High Priestess, without ANY of her guards or wards or mechanisms to try and subdue me, would open up my cage."
