((*shifty eyes* Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo....))
"On the north side, he sees the decaying flesh and rotting corpses of a few humans that have already been devoured by the monsters. But upon closer observation, he can see that these corpses contain short swords and wooden shields. There only form of protection..." Thrasymachus chuckles. "Though it did them little good. There is nothing on the east or west sides. On the south side, there is a long dark passage. Apparently, this dungeon was once a conventional prison, since you are technically in a cell. However, the bars are mostly broken and the actual door is unlocked. It seems that you are expected to travel down the southern corridor, unless you wish to wait for the beasts to come to you."

((BY FIRE BE PURGED!))
"Is it dark or bright in this dungeon?"

((I wanna cast a spell....))
"Dark. Extremely dark."

((So...who's your favourite character?))
"Oh. Okay. Doesn't matter anyway, as, being a Drow, Quim has darkvision for 60 feet." The boy gives a half-grin "He moves down the corridor carefully."

((Sir Schmoopy and the Eluamous. Not exactly original....but I do like them best. Oh, and Grandma Schmoopy is cool too.))
Thrasymachus nods. "Up ahead, there is a fork. Quim would see a group of prisoners who have banded together in party-format fighting an unusually large and powerful displacer beast. Seeing you, the band calls for aid, because they are losing strength quickly. These prisoners are on the left fork. However, the right fork looks entirely empty, and you could easily walk away and not fight...for now."

((Check for traps, Pookie. NOW.))
The boy seems to think for a moment. He looks down at the Character sheet, then up at Thrasymachus. "Quim casts Entangle on the Displacer Beast, seeking to help the prisoners a little, then he hurries down the right path, not bothering to see the effect of his help."

"As he hurries down the right path, he suddenly triggers a trap. 50 arrows shoot out from out of the wall. Roll your die, you need at 10 or lower to duck and go unscathed."

The boy mumbles something about "10 or higher, el stupido" but it's too quiet for the Guardian to hear. He lifts his dashing had and produces a simple ten-sided die. ((I found an online Die-roller)) He tosses the die a little way and looks at it. He looks up and smiles "Five." He says.

"I purposely wanted a 10 or lower," he glares as he speaks. "But shouldn't you be using a d20? After all, it's plenty easy to get 10 or lower with a ten-sided die."

"That would depend. What does it say in the booklet? 1d20 or 1d10?"

"1d20."

The boy pulls another die from his hat and is about to roll when he pauses. "Is this a Stat check?"

"How should I know. This is my first time playing."

"Well, I would assume that this would be a stat check, governed by either Strength, Wisdom, Dexterity, Charisma, Constitution or Intelligence. Then, if I have a plus or minus to that stat, then I get a plus one, plus two, minus one, minus two etcetera etcetera to the check that is governed by that stat."

"Ok then, I'd imagine that this one is based upon dexterity then, considering that you're dodging."
((Does it strike you funny that we're rping rping?))
