Lief and Devon are beside themselves with the beauty of the moment. The first sunset--the warmth of light, the feeling of the sun's rays. Sunshine. For a moment, it looks like Lief wipes something from his eye. Devon would have offered Lief a handkerchief, save for the fact that it was disintegrated along with all his clothes save for the hat. And so, there was a moment of peace and serenity amongst the men.
Save for Thrasymachus, who was still having an internal monologue. Until he suddenly felt the strange sensation of something unusually hot (for Manticore was quite cold) and bright (since Manticore was also quite dreary)...and something peculiar came over him. Perhaps it was seeing the light of the pure sun for the first time. Maybe it was the feeling of warmth coming over him, telling him he would no longer have to hide inside his leather gloves, his dark coat, his frozen heart. For such a sight really could melt the coldest heart. But for whatever reason, Thrasymachus looked up, leaving his thoughts behind, staring awestruck at the sun. His eyes widened in awe.
Yes, for whatever reason it was, without so much as thinking, for his action was purely just a reaction, Thrasymachus blurted out in a most uncharacteristic (despite the fact his voice remained dark and rather monotone, as always) way ,"Bruce Wayne is Batman."
And then the antiverse imploded as well.

Nothing. Nothing in The Void. Well, not exactly true. There are a gajillion Daleks and Cybermen floating around somewhere, but apart from that, there is a teenage boy wearing Simpsons Pyjamas, floating through this vast nothing. "Well damn. We need Hideo Kojima to write us out of this one..." he comments.

Another voice across the vast expanse calls out after him. "NO WE DON'T! WE HAVE ME!!" Then the voice vanishes.
The gajillion Daleks and Cybermen floating about precariously begin to layer up, one upon another. And the way those thousands of photographs form a larger picture in those human murals, so does the Daleks and Cyberman...and anything else that should find its way into the Void. Four Megacycles later and a few nano-klicks the picture that has been created is white, pure white emptiness, which is solid, and yet not.
It is has become the Antiverse again--a clean slate of nothingness, an open canvas waiting to be written on. As it was before everyone decided to start 'corrupting' it with items and artifacts. And to those lowly beings which are the players in one realm or another, it would seem that they had just yet again woken from a large, yet painless explosion, as when they were torn from their world. They, of course, have no knowledge that their composition and everything else's composition are those comparatively tiny Daleks and Cybermen.
Somewhere in the expanse, Devon awoke.
((Sorry, I just decided to do things so we could move on. Even though now I've just looped us in a circle. ;P ))

And the noble would awake to a rather intimidating face looming over him. First to notice would be the great big brown beard looming over him like a big hairy looming thing. Then the great big red nose, protruding out above the beard like a small slightly pointed tomato. Then the sunglasses, black and shaded, hiding the man's eyes.Above these is a black bandana sporting an illustration of a skull screaming with a snake crawling out of it's eye and mouth. The beard shuffles a little and the eyebrows barely visible beneath the bandana and above the sunglasses furrow themselves. "You okay, dude?" Comes a low voice that sounds as if the speaker eats gravel and children.

Devon immediately startles with a horrified 'Ah!' After all, beards are so...uncombly...
*ehem*
At least this makes him quickly bound to his feet. But once he's on them, realizing it is a man before him, he quickly calms down. "I beg your pardon, Sir. I hadn't meant to do that, but your sudden appearance startled me..."

The man is now revealed in his full. At least 250 pounds of muscle and hair, the man looks like a biker, sporting a sleeveless jacket with another illustration of two nude young ladies attempting to mount a red man with horns and a tail with the words "HELL'S RIDERS" written underneath. He wears fingerless gloves and faded jeans with enormous black boots the side of baby lions. He scratches his head. "No worries, bro. All kindsa people are scared of me at first." He looks like he could squish the young noble with one hand.

Speaking of the young noble, he has to use every once of said nobleness and all the good manners that come along with it to not stare or do anything offensive. Taking off his hat, he bows slightly, though he decides not to announce himself as a noble, in the end. "I am Devon van Shire. It is my pleasure to make your acquaintance."

The man laughs, his entire figure shaking with great belts of laughter. He leans forward, extending a ham-sized hand big enough to crush Devon's head for the noble to shake. "That's a funny name ya got there, stranger. My name's Chuck. Just call me Chuck."

He smiles, silently thinking I could say the same thing about your name, Sir. Of course he gives no indication to this. Instead, he nods smartly. "Chuck," he repeats, "So nice to meet you."

Chuck pulls his hand away, getting the impression Devon does not want to shake. Fine by him. Lots of people are like this first time meeting him. "So, er, Devon wassit? Ya got any idea where we are?" He looks around the endless whiteness, propping a hand above his eyeline as if looking for something in the distance.

((*sheepish grin* Oops. I didn't mean for Devon to NOT shake his hand....I just completely missed the part where you mentioned Chuck put out his hand. Now I feel terrible. ))

"Umm...well, let's see..." Devon ponders. He normally wouldn't use such unrefined speech as vocal fillers, but he's quite clearly confused. "I remember being pulled out of my world, Venera, into the Antiverse, due to the fact that the Universe imploded. My friends and I were recreating the world....when it imploded again...."
In the distance, Chuck could see a tiny figure. Something, far away, is approaching them. But it's still quite a distance.

"Really? That's some strange stuff there..." Chuck says absently, trying to discern whether that dot is something real or just his mind playing tricks. After deciding it is real, Chuck turns and taps Devon on the shoulder with enough force to break down a door. He points in the direction of the shape. "Hey look! Somethin's coming, there buddy!"

"Another person!" Devon says excitedly. "Splendid! Perhaps it is one of my friends--perhaps they will know what happened this time."
The figure comes closer, but is still a distance away.
