(( I really like the outfit too, Pan! Where do you find these designs?))
When Ratiel tumbled into the room, Mina rushed over to her, her eyes wide with concern. Poor thing! What had she been running from? "Oh my gosh, are you all right?"
Mina breathed a huge sigh of relief. She had been next in line, but she got a break now! Hopefully, Professor Lanix would just forget the whole thing. She wandered back to her desk and took a seat, having every intention of staying there.
((An announcement from Asila: The circle game is a tool of the devil. :Now back to the previously scheduled program:))

((I'm going to be a jerk and continue the circle game So there!)) The boys, which include the triplets and Virid, all sweat drop, and return to picking up Ratiel's books. The triplets do get a small grin, as if they're all silently communicating, 'Hey, she's pretty cute....' Lanix pulls out a handkerchief, sniffing loudly with teary eyes. "How touching!" He suddenly discards the handkerchief, claps his hands together, and returns to his good cheer. "Anyways, I feel that that's enough of the drama! Ratiel, go ahead and pick a seat. We were just playing the circle game! That's right everyone, you're not getting out of it; stand back up and form a circle!"

Morgan takes his seat and casts a glance at Ratiel. Hey, pretty cute and all... He smiles his dazzling smile at her then returns his gaze to Professor Lanix, his eyes boring into the teacher. He sighs again and rises to his feet, rolling his eyes. He raises his hand. "Sir, I don't see how this is productive to the lesson..."

Ratiel blinks at Mina and smiles nodding to her two, but then notices Ana and Mina aren't the only one's whos attention was on her and while she notices it's mostly males she grabs Ana and moves her in front of herself as if saying 'no take her instead'.
then as the teacher spoke Ratiel peaked her head out towards him and signed, along with mouthed the words 'okay i'm sorry. I'll take a seat' but she tried to drag ana along with her

Ana looks from Retiel and Morgen and get a little grin and she leans in to whisper to her. "Hey girl you are getting a lot of looks from the guys." she giggels a bit. "It even seem that you got the eye of my love." She slaps her on the back play frully. "Don't go stealing my guy now!" she laughs making a joke. ana goes with Ratiel to keep her 'safe' and giggles the hole way.

Lanix grins. "It's not. But it's the first day, and life itself is not just meant to be something as silly as 'productive.' School..." he gets a mysterious smile, "...is one of those rare social grounds where people are forced to interact with one another. Especially in this day and era, where man...and all other beings," he corrects himself, "are becoming increasingly isolated from one another. You are not just here to learn things out of books--if you wanted such an education you could have holed yourself up in a den and memorized the books of Euclid for the next 25 years of your life. Ahh, yes, books are delightful, but the most important lessons you'll ever learn are from the people you encounter; the knowledge you gain from encounters cannot be reproduced in books. " He shifts his focus from Morgan to the rest of the class, "So if anyone else disagrees and insists on not playing, I dare say anything I could teach would be entirely wasted on you, and you may leave now." Lanix gives a slight nod of the head, motioning to the door. "By no means am I anyone to keep you here against your will. You are all free-spirited and intelligent to make your own decisions."

Maemi tilts her head slightly as she watches Ratiel walk away. Poor girl! She seemed so nervous. Maemi just couldn't understand. Why were so many people so afraid of meeting new people? Personally, she agreed with the Professor. Meaningful interaction with other individuals was necessary to develop a balanced, functional mind. But no one ever listened to her when she said as much. Mina certainly didn't. She shook her head slightly and returned to the Orian, Jonas, and Mikah. "What strange classmates we have!" She mused aloud when she reached them. She was talking softly, because she didn't want to annoy Professor Lanix, who seemed to be trying to get the show back on the road. "This year is definitely going to be an interesting one..."
Mina was glowering at Lanix as he spoke. When he got to the part of his speech included memorizing books alone in a cavern, she mumbled, "Good idea" to herself. But when he told the class that anyone was free to leave if they wanted to, she just sat there. It wasn't as though part of her didn't want to leave. Because she did. In fact, nothing sounded better. But she knew there was no escaping her fate. If she ran today, she'd be dragged back tomorrow. And she didn't want to endure such humiliation. But participating in the stupid game didn't sound any better. So she just sat there, trying to decide what she was going to do about it.

The triplets nodded, and Jonas, if she could identify him, said, "Oooooh yeah...." At that moment, Lanix's ears twitched. "You there! Thank you for volunteering to go next!" Jonas' eyes widened and he looked around to see if anyone else was nearby. Both Mikah and Orian took a side step away from him, leaving him in the clear.
Lanix beckoned him to the front. "Come on, to the front, don't be shy--you obviously weren't a moment ago with the darling young girl." Jonas gulped nervously--somehow being called up seemed worse as compared to just naming yourself quickly in the circle game.
"Well," Lanix said with a grin, "Since it seems NO ONE likes to form circles, I'm going to instead call each of you up one at a time--playing a distorted version of our game. Go on, tell us about yourself!"
Jonas looked nervous. He didn't like being in front of the class. Why couldn't he have called Mikah, who was always calm, or Orian, who was always fearless, instead? He wrung his hands a little, unsure why this was such an issue anyways. He knew he wouldn't be so nervous had he had one (preferably both) of his brothers up there with him. The three had always been inseparable, and so it would seem that Jonas was confident, in all reality, he became incredibly shy without Mikah and Orian. "Umm...well...ermm.."
Lanix shook his head a little muttering, "It seems I'll also have to teach public speaking in this class..." It didn't really make Jonas feel any better, but Lanix spun around, grinning again. "I know, why not begin by naming off your previous classmates?"
Jonas nodded quietly. "Umm...There's Rune..." He looks at her, then moves on,"...and Ana...and....Morgan..."
Lanix cuts him off chipperly. "Good--very good! Now introduce yourself."
Jonas bowed his head a little, "My name is Jonas. I'm here with my two brothers, Orian and Mikah. As you can see, we're triplets."
Lanix grins, motioning to Jonas that he can take his seat again. This time he points to Mina. "You next."

When Lanix calls on her, Mina actually looks to the right and left, as though there was the slightest chance that someone with the same name was sitting right by her. But of course there wasn't, so her moment of panic evolved into terror. Up in front of the class? Alone? This was worse than the circle game! This professor was a freakin' sadist! She paled, her eyes widening fearfully...but then, all of a sudden, those same eyes narrowed fiercely and she pushed herself to her feet, stalking to the front of the class and turning to face the students. She gave the impression of a brave individual who was facing death by a pack of rabid wolves, but that visual should have been out of place here. But it felt like the same thing to her.
She couldn't feel her legs, and her mind was fuzzy and distant with the terror that she was trying so hard to disguise. But she took a deep breath, lifted her chin, and began. "...Rune, Ana,...Morgan, and Jonas." She said, pointing to each one in turn. She'd struggled a bit with a few of the names, but at least she'd remembered. Thank god for small favors. "I'm Mina." And I hate this school, and I hate this professor, and I hate this stupid game... "And I think that, as a general rule, vampires are the coolest beings on the face of the earth." She turned to look at Lanix, arcing her eyebrows in an expression that said "You're the exception" before stalking back to her seat.
Next to the triplets, Maemi facepalmed.

Despite the fact that Mina's remark was meant to signify painfully obvious disdain for the vampire, Lanix smiles at the comment and her expression, making it impossible to tell if he didn't notice her hidden meaning or if he was laughing in spite of it. "Oh really? I touched! I hope to not disappoint you then."
Lanix looks around the room, then his eyes land on the Faryll, the one he noted trying to hide in the corner when they first formed a circle. Leaning against his desk, he now motions to Faryll to take the stand. "Come on up and introduce yourself."

When the teacher asked him to come up, Faryll suddenly looked up, his eyes wide like a rabbit who hasjust heard a twig crack somewhere to it's left. "M-me?" he says, pointing feebly to himself "y-yes sir..."
He steps forward, each and every footfall feeling like someone had put lead in his shoes. When he reachs the front he turns around but doesn't look at his peers, but his own feet. "Morgan, Ana, Jonas and Mina..." he recited quickly, as if he was scared he would get it wrong "and m-my name's Faryll Pazu...I, uh, I'm a demon..." he quickly hurried back to his seat, but not too fast for fear of Prof. Lanix's wrath.
Morgan looks pitiyingly after him. Poor sod..

"Very good, very good," Lanix gives a brief nod, then turns his eyes on Ratiel. "And now you, who so graciously dropped in, pun intended," he chuckled a little.

Ratiel looked up from organizing her bookbag, and her eyes wide. She looked at Ana but knew she couldn't help her. She stood up, and slowly walked up to the front. The whole while she was thinking 'I don't wanna speak in front of the class! why, why did my interpretor have to leave? meeting that why--oh shut up!'
Ratiel knew she couldn't sign because no one would understand her--she turned to face the class and took a deep breath before she was about to speak
knock knock knock~
Ratiel turned her head to the door and in came her interpreter Vritri--her face lit up and her stomach's butterflies calmed.
Vritri was a relatively tall man with a light tan, and a few metallic scales on the sides of his face. He had medium sized wings, one dragon like and one angel like. he had peircing gold eyes, and an intimidating looking mohawk that cascaded down the center of his head and down his back to his waist, made of nearly platinum white blonde hair--but as soon as he gave his apologetice smile, the warmth that eminanted from him cancelled out is rather rough appearence.
"Hello. I'm sorry to interupt but I'm Ratiel's Interpreter."
Ratiel waited until Vritri stepped beside her and began her silent language with her hands.
Vritri spoke for her, a gentle fluid voice. "Hello, my names Ratiel, and there's nothing very special about me and my family background is a little obscured. A habit you may note about me is that I carry my father's shirt everywhere I go--in fact I'm wearingit now which is why it's so big, but he passed away when I was younger and it makes me feel closer to him. Thank you."
Ratiel smiled and nodded her head happy she had gotten away with not talking. she took her seat, her confidence back now that Virtri was here.
Vitri sat in the front to sign what everyone was saying to her

Rune smiles lightly to Ratiel and holds her hand out to give her a hand shake. She makes sure to accentuate every word to make sure she knows what's she's saying (if she can read lips that is) "Hello, my name is Rune."

Lanix doen't seem to immediately notice that Ratiel hadn't mentioned her preceding classmates, or that she had even finished her introduction, as he was eyeing Vritri up and down with a curious, almost disturbingly concupiscent look and a sly smile. He snaps out of it though, returning to his grinning state and turns to the class. "Very good....how about you now?" he says to Virid.
Virid gracefully stands up and makes his way to the front of the classroom. He looks gentle and sweet and soft spoken, like he must be very refined, sophisticated, and well-mannered. He blinks, looking to Lanix for a second. Lanix motions for him to begin. "HI EVERYONE! MY NAME'S VIRID!" Illusion shattered. His mannerisms suddenly become that of a party-going frat boy that was probably failing all his classes. "And I like WAFFLES! And the circle-game is against my religion, so I refuse to name everyone else's name!" He suddenly goes back to the refined, soft-spoken self and bows his head. "Thank you." He gracefully goes back to his seat.
The triplets look at Virid and then sweat-drop. Lanix seems to have no concern for this, as he immediately calls up Mikah.
Mikah begins by naming off everyone else before continuing his own introduction. "Good morning, my name is Mikah. I'm one the triplets, as you can see," he indicates to his brothers. He then pauses, trying to think of something to say about himself. His ears twitch cutely. "Oh yes, you might notice the cat-ears. A lot people like to randomly grab them, but..." he looks to his brothers again, "...I'd like to take this opportunity on behalf of my brothers and myself to request that you don't. It's very...erm...uncomfortable for us. Thank you." Mikah goes back to his seat.
After this, Lanix calls forward some of the other students ((the ones we're not playing)), and about half way through the class, he calls Maemi up.
