She stas down at him thinking. 'He looks nothing like poeple around here....I wonder where he came from...' she can hear a little tining noise and looks around. "What was that.... It must have been the rain."

Kinrei's mother walks in, rather frustrated, "Kinrei!! where do you think you've been! You're an hour late! And now you're soaking wet!!"

She stand there with a silly smile on her face. "I'm sorry mom I got a little lost in the storm...hu..." She looks back out to the stabell where she left the strang man at. "Mom....hummm... I didn't find Rosie................"

"Honestly Kinrei! I don't know where you head is! Your teachers say you are so bright--but you couldn't even keep track of the one cat your father and I allowed you to borrow! My goodness--what were you doing with Rosie anyways!?"

Kinrie looks back at her mom with a nevrus smile. "I wasn't trying to do anything with her....I hade her pan open....and you know how she hate thounder....well when there was a big clape of it she...she ran off..." Kinrie is debating wether to tell mer mom about the guy she found.

Kinrei looks away from her rubbing the back of her head. "I know you and Dad always toled me not to talk to people I don't know...But mom....." She looks back at her mother. "He looked like he was dieing so i had to give up my serch for Rosie and take this man in...." Kinrei stops to let her mother speek forgeting to tell her that he was in the stabbel.

"The stabel!!! Kinrei! If he is a thief, we'll have lost ALL of our cats!!!" she pushes the girl aside, rushing to the stable, undoing the latch.
