"Oh, did I say size had anything to do with it? Besides, power isn't important...Skill is important..."
"No it isn't!" differs Paka, but he's still being ignored
When Lief said it, Rojo's face flickered for a moment, but when Devon spoke he took a moment to reply... "Pfft, what do you mean?"

"That you are undead of course," he says, tails still gently swaying around him. "I could smell it from the first time I saw you. Perhaps you should stop lying to your beloved friend, as you think so highly of him. "
Devon continues to look at Rojo, slight disbelief, as if he didn't want to believe what Lief was saying just yet.

"Stop trying to mess with Devon..." he tells Lief, pulling a glare. Then he turns around "C'mon, Devs" he says, and walks after Shadow. Paka shakes his head and follows too.

Devon nods, following his friend faithfully. he takes a few hurried steps to catch up with Rojo's, giving a nervous chuckle. "Sorry Rojo--I must be dense or something. That good for nothing fox nearly had me for a second...."

"Yeah...he's not worth it" he agrees. Paka hangs back with Lief "Power is more important than skill..." he says thoughtfully.

Devon nods silently, then tries to change the subject, "So, where does the map lead to next?"
Lief smiles slyly again, "Are you so sure? What good is a power so great if you don't have the skill to wield it? In the end, you'd only destroy yourself."

"'Dunno, Paka has the map...Where's Shadow gone off to?"
Paka paused "You're saying he was right, then?" Paka smirks "The filthy undead proves the celestial god-fox wrong..."

"What do you mean Paka? I never desputed the fact that Rojo was incorrect about skill being more important than power. If anything, it furthered my point of saying that taking up a huge and physically powerful form would be irrelevant. I was just surprised at how many times he contradicted himself at once. First he told me I should change my form to be 'less pathetic,' then he told me that 'size isn't important,' the first contradiction. I hold no grudges against him, though he seems to dislike me. All I did was offer his 'friend' some useful advice when he looked as though he would attack me. And yet HE'S the one lying to his 'friend' for his own selfish fears."
Devon blinks, "I'm not sure--I think I saw him run off ahead of us..."

Rojo looks worried for a second, then shrugs "He'll be fine..."
"But you said you have power...great power, and- but- if- what?" Paka looks confused then shakes his head "Maybe you should've just left it be? You'd be suprised how many soft-hearted adventurers have gotten to about the fifth floor of my fortress before dying...and calling him a homosexual was a bit too far...you'd be suprised how many homosexual adventurers have gotten to the eighth floor of my fortress before dying..."

"yes, I'm sure he will," Devon smiles.
Lief smiles widely, explaining the point of views a fox would have, "I don't have any problems with homosexuality--most fox don't since when we are young, we have to use sexuality against humans to strengthen our powers. If he took it negatively, that is his own fault. Humans tend to deem such phrases so badly, though if they just saw them unbiasedly, the insult of those words would just disappear. Words only have insults if we interpret them to have insults.
As for being soft-hearted....it's a much harder subject to debate; I prefer not to talk about it myself. At the time I mentioned it to Devon, I only meant for him to not worry so much about the dangling attacker.

Rojo keeps walking...
"I suppose you're right...humans are pretty stupid...we gods don't have intercourse for pleasure; we meld our minds together. It's like..."he tried to think of a phrase "it's like having multiple orgasms inside your mind."

Devon continues to walk beside him, though every so often, he wonders if Lief was right and Rojo is lying to him....
Lief nods in agreement about humans being stupid. However, as he is NOT a god, he seems interested in what Paka has to say. "Meld your minds together? That seems interesting..."

"Oh, yes, it's hundred-fold better than human methods of intercourse...you become the same being, entity, whatever...and this explosion of raw power courses through your entire form, and beyond. It...echoes through you...it's...wow..." he stops for a moment to appear to be reminiscing "The problem is, so much energy builds up it screws something up on Yorl...I think that caused him" he points at Rojo's back "to nearly be overtaken by a lich I awakend during a...session."

"It causes catastrophe? And all these years, humans have thought that disaster struck when gods were enraged at their creations for their sinful ways! I can't WAIT for word to get around that disaster happens during great spiritual sex!" he laughs, amused by this. "Next time there is a major earthquake, I'll have to remember what you Gods are actually doing."
He then looks over at Rojo, when Paka points at him, saying his current form was a result of such a situation. He frowns a little, feeling a twinge of sympathy, "Perhaps I was too harsh with the boy..."
But then, he decides to drop the negativity, turning back to Paka.
"Now the question is..." he ends slyly again, "who is your mate?"

Rojo shrugs one of his shoulders absently, looking around.
Paka looks at Rojo for a while longer, then turns back to Lief "What? Oh, mates? We usually grab the nearest god willing and...commence. But most of the time there are cases of love, and I have experienced love, that awful emotion created by humans...I was content with a Goddess known as Sylphie. She was as wild and incontrollable as the thing she ruled over; war. We were together for many a year, and we shared many...meldings, and then one day...I found her with another god; Aphrosia, Lord of The Mountains. I flew into a rage...I killed them both, and threw their bodies to my armies..." He shakes his head "Curse those damn mortals, why did they create such an unbearble emotion as love..."
