((Geez, sorry. I've been kinda busy getting ready for incoming relatives this week))
Sir, our friend would like to talk to you about something that is rather important to him.

Dumbledore gives a knowing smile. "If I might ask, who is this friend of yours?"

Erik silently stalks through the room, then appears before the gentleman from around the corner, "I do beg you forgive my intrusion Monsieur, but I am him. I am Erik," he gives a delicate bow, tipping his hat as so.

Dumbledore does the same. Any ordinary wizard would be absolutely stunned beyond words knowing that a muggle could even see Hogwarts, let alone pass through her gates. But, bear in mind, Albus Dumbledore is by no means ordinary. He smiles at Erik. “A pleasure to meet your, Sir. And welcome to Hogwarts.” he says politely, peering at him over his half-moon spectacles, “I am Albus Dumbledore and subsequently the Headmaster here. Now, then, what may I do for you two?”

"Thank you sir," Erik nods in respect, "Rumor had it that Hogwarts hasn't had any music classes for quite a span of time now....and knowing the great advantages eager students may gain from such instruction, I humbly request a position here in such classes."

Dumbledore pauses and studies Erik. A curious situation our headmaster has been put into, indeed. In the long, long history of Hogwarts, never before has a non-magic person taught within her walls. Allowing him to instruct here could potentially risk the exposure of the Wizarding World, which would be utterly catastrophic. But by the same token, no muggle has ever found there way here, or even past Platform 9 ¾ for that matter.
And the more Dumbledore scrutinizes Erik, the more it seems that he has had very little contact with the outside world, at any rate. If anything it would be best to keep and eye on this fellow. Those thoughts in mind, and against countless Ministry bi-laws, he comes to his decision.
“You’re quite right, sir. Hogwarts does indeed need a professor of music.” he says steadily. “If you are willing to fill the post, I see no reason to turn you away.”

"Thank you Professor Dumbledore, I am very honoured, but I don't mean to keep your students waiting. I understand that you have to go to the welcoming feast in the main hall..."

Dumbledore smiles. "You are quite right. I'll have Mr. Filch show you to your quarters." he says pleasantly, "And you're more than welcome to join us in the Great Hall once you are settled."
With a tip of his hat and wink, he slips through the great oak doors. A few moments later, a scruffy looking man in a tatty, old overcoat emerges from the Great Hall. He gives Erik and odd look and indicates that he should follow him without so much as an introduction. A mangy looking cat weaves in and out of both their legs and begins walking at Filch’s side.
The man treads along (a slow, almost limping gate that suggests he suffers from some form of arthritis), making his way past a rather large staircase toward a great black door. He grasps the gold handle and idly pulls open the door with a long, irritating creek. “You first.” he sneers, his crooked, yellowish teeth exposed in a lop-sided grin.

*grins* We have to go now, Professor, but hopefully we shall see you shortly. Come on guys, we don't want to miss the feast. *whispers to Erik before going into the Great Hall* Just watch out for that cat.
