At first she tired to push away from him but there no use even if he didn't put up a fight she was just too weak from sleep. She finely just leans into his chest crying, nothing said. In her mind right now nothing needs to be said. Kealya just felt so awful and so dumb.

"Shhh," he was still trying to calm her. At some point, he had maneuvered here to pick her up, and began to carry her. He began to take her toward her room, still trying to calm her down as they went. "Kealya, kealya, calm yourself. You did nothing wrong."

"Nothing wrong?" She said this with a bit of a hiccup in her voice. "I-I made a fool of myself... And of all people I did it to you." She was whipping the tears away but she was still crying and it looked like she wasn't going to stop any time soon.

Mikaki had arrived back in the room, gently setting her upon the bed. He really didn't know how to get her to calm down. "You did no such thing. I am very, very flattered. You needn't apologize, for the last time." He tried to smile, though it keep off a bit awkwardly as well. "Listen, you're a pretty, young, attractive girl. You shouldn't be with an old, decrepit bastard like me."

"Mikaki you are the only man that I have ever meet that could keep up with my intellectually and surpass me for that matter. You really do have a kind heart and..." Kealya looks down at her keens pulling them close to her chest now. "And whats the point you obviously have no interest in me like that. I am just chasing shadows now and I went and made such a bold move as to kiss you. What was I even thinking?" It seemed like what ever he tried to do to calm her down it just wasn't working.

He listened to her patiently. This girl just wasn't calming down, no matter what it was he was trying. And eventually, after hearing her still frantic words, he simply gave up and in. He hadn't been over thinking--or even really thinking--but he leaned in to press a kiss against her lips.

Kealya's eyes opened wide as she felt his lips touch hers. She didn't know whether to pull back from it or even lean in. She decides to go with the latter of the two. Kealya closes her eyes and leans into the kiss. She wasn't sure why he had done it but this might be her only chance she had to kiss him back. After a few moment she pulled away from him looking at him threw hooded eyes, still glossy with tears. "Why?" she asked in a soft voice.

By the point that she had pulled away, Mikaki himself was half a room away himself, though he was fast enough that she never saw it. His gaze did not pull away from her, as he stared contemplatively. "The issue... was never with you, Kealya. I didn't want to see you crying, thinking that it was. I am being sincere when I say, you don't want me."

Kealya doesn't move her eyes off of him as she slowly blinks a few times. "But what if I told you that I do want to be with you... I know it sounds crazy to you... But that is how I really feel." She pauses for a few seconds. "And kissing me doesn't help change my mind what so ever."

He pulled his lips back in grimace. "Well, that wasn't meant to change your mind-- it was meant to make you stop crying," he grumbled to himself, his arms crossed.

She reaches up and whips a few tears away from her eyes. "Well I stopped for now, but that doesn't mean looking back on this event it wont cause me to cry again."

His shoulders raised, even more pronounced for how angular his body was. "I think that's called emotional blackmail..." he grumbled to himself. But of course, even that was telling--that apparently he cared whether or not she was crying.

She gives a little bit of a laugh now moving a bit on the bed. "I didn't mean it that way... Why are you getting so upset about me crying? Aren't you the one that doesn't want this to happen? I know you have a past Mikaki but... It's your future that really matters to me..."

He remained silent for a long, tense moment, staring away without focus on any real item in the vicinity. Then he finally snapped his head back to her, frowning as if displeased, but relenting. "My future and my past are so often the same. But if you will not relent, then we will act slowly. I will you give an opportunity, only because it will be opportunity to find your sense in this whole matter. And we will see the outcome. Is this fair?"

Kealya looked surprised at this as a hand came up to her mouth. She lowers her head and nodes slowly covering her eyes again with the back of her hand. "Yeah that sounds like a fair deal." It was clear that she was crying again, but this time not out of sadness.
