Thrasymachus: Hair and Eyes?

OK! I have some more prelim sketches of T! So, since I'm wishy-washy about the hair, I've decided to put it up to a vote. So each picture corresponds with a one of the poll answers above. Warning: they are all pretty sketchy, i.e. BAD. But, there just there to give a general jist before I try doing it well. So, we're voting on design, not quality. Got it? Here we go!

Oh yes, and I've also been debating about the eyes. In the above pictures, you'll notice they eyes are slightly different from the original sketch. That's because I had a bit of serendipity at photoshop, but that's another story. In any case, here's the original eyes, followed by the new eyes. Along with your vote, please mention which eyes you like better!

I have to admit, Seven...choosing amongst the hairstyles was a bit difficult. I wound up feeling torn between two of the choices, but I could only vote for one, sooooo....I had to choose the one no one else had chosen yet. Just in case I wound up being the only person who favored it.

Anyway, I chose the 'original' because I thought it looked a bit smoother, more refined. And this type of hairstyle would favor highlights that would really make his hair seem to shimmer. And so, it seemed more like a Guardian hairstyle, to me.

...but the second hairstyle you listed is more bad-ass. I will say no more, because there is no point. Anything bad-ass is awesome.

...but then I remember that my demented villain, Somriad, is as reserved and refined in appearance as anyone, so a character doesn't have to look as bad-ass as possible to be as bad-ass as possible.

Sooo...I guess that what I'm thinking is that the original sketch would suit T better, since he's trying to blend in with the other Guardians. And since he seems to respect Somriad, one of the Guardians with a shorter hairstyle. But those are just a few fleeting impressions. Don't take them too seriously.

As for the eyes...once again I have to go for the original. The thicker lines look more feral to me. Probably because I was going to take that same concept to the extreme when I draw my werewolf character, since wolves have that thickly out-lined look to their eyes that is so cool. So I'm leaning toward the refined version here, too. *shrugs* I just think that T is going to look bad-ass when he's finished, no matter what you decide on. *smiles*

Finally, we have my disclaimer. THIS IS ALL SPECULATION ON MY PART! If you feel differently, don't let my rambling thoughts discourage you. Or I will have to stab you with a mechanical pencil. *nods solemnly*
