Rojo proceeds to laugh loudly when Devon goes all stereotype on him. Then he watches the metaphorical cogs whirring furiously in the noble's head as he tries to comprehend what to do. When he does the monk bow, Rojo suppresess a laugh "You're a monk, then?" asks Sqaull, looking confused whilst wiping his hand absently on his trousers.

While Devon is still bowed, a surprised look passes over his face--only for a second though. He couldn't believe it...Devon had managed to pick the one strange thing that actually existed? Curse his luck! How did that happen? He shoots Rojo a glare; once again, he was being completely unhelpful. Devon hastily stands back up, quickly running a hand through his hair. This was getting stressful. "No....actually," he smiled apologetically. He had NO idea what a monk was. How was he going to explain this "I'm just a traveler, and I've...um...passed through there..." It must have been funny for Rojo to see the noble squirm in such a situation. He hastily decided to change the subject from him to the others, "And Rojo has told me about you, Captain," he smiled, "I've heard you commandeered a great deal and outtricked many men."

Squall looks at Devin quizzically, then grinned, he was open to flattery... "Oh, why I thought he might..." said Squall "but I expect you'll be wanting safe passage to Glin?" Rojo paused "I think me and Devon would prefer to take the adventurer's route...though I think my friend is more acustomed to a warm milky cup of tea before an afternoon nap." He grinned at Devon, taking chance to pick at his heritages.
Squall rolled his eyes "Really...you are terrible at concealing your noble roots, Mr. Devon. And there will be a lot of dark people trying to get at you if you are taking the high road..." "You are suggesting more...adventure-adapted clothing?" asked Rojo.

As soon as Rojo made the comment about the milky tea and afternoon naps, Devon immediately craned his head up again and crossed his arms, as if he were still angry at Rojo and intended to ignore all his comments. But he betrayed his silence by making a teasing remark, "Don't make me have to 'Hmpf!' at you anymore Rojo--you forget I can always revert to wearing monocles and demanding...." he pauses, "oh, it doesn't matter. I'll just make demands as I see fit!" Devon gave a chuckle, relaxing his neck, and then smiled wryly at Squall's comment about having poorly concealed his nobility, "And who ever said that I was trying to?"
As for the final comments about new clothing, it caused Devon to look down and study his garb momentarily. He liked how he was dressed--in fact, Devon liked to look as flamboyant as he did, as though it made him unique and special somehow. Flashy, really. "Well...I suppose they aren't the most appropriate clothes for adventuring..." he had to admit, though he was so fond of them.

"Well, you obviously are foreign if you don't think being a noble is a bad thing. You'll be dead before you reach The Green Expanse. So if you wanna live, you gotta get more suitable clothing." Explained Squall.

Devon was surprised at Squall's ability to read him--after all, he never mentioned anything about wanting to keep his outfit. Devon nodded, "I know, I realize it puts us at unnecessary risk. I'll change."

Rojo and Squall paused, then looked at eachother. "I'm not letting him borrow mine" they both said in unison, they both appeared to be just as attached to their outfits. "He could wear nothing at all..." suggests Faelin with a laugh. Rojo looks at her, wondering whether she was joking; it was hard to tell with Faelin.

"....Why don't I just go purchase some new clothes, so I won't have to feel guilty about borrowing anyones?" he points, though Faelin's comment made him grin a little.

"Yes, but what if your...currency isn't worth much?" reasoned Rojo.

"Well....it is gold and turquoise, even if it is shaped with another insigna on it. Or does gold not fetch well around here?"

"I'm sure that'll do fine..." replies the Pirate.

"Excellent!" he smiles, clasping his hands together. "Now, does anyone know of a good tailor?" Even if Devon was going to be an adventurer, he still wanted to have his own look, and reasonably nice materials in his clothing.

Rojo looked up for a moment, then turned his gaze back to Devon "Mr Rove, he's a few streets away. He's a good man, almost as good as his materials" He rubbed his comfy shirt fondly "He's quite cheap as well. I'm sure Turin or Fa-" "I'll show him!" butted in Faelin. "Okay..." said Rojo slowly "I can't go outside. Well, the crowd could've dispersed by now. Oh, and try to keep your head down, Devs."

Devon nods, putting his hat back on his head. "Will do, Rojo." He then turns to Faelin, grinning and offering her his arm, "Thank you for volunteering to show me the way. Shall we be off?"

"Such class!" she says, taking the arm and marching out the door.
"'She faking it?" "Dunno, she's a doll for pretty faces and big sacks." The other two looked at him astonishdly "Money sacks!" he rolled his eyes. Rojo and Turin relaxed their gaze.
